First time here and will NOT be the last!!! I’m hooked! Had no clue about this gem but so glad we spotted it today. Everything was delicious. Service was superb (which is a huge deal these days) We tried the pork dumplings, spicy garlic wings, soy garlic wings, spicy garlic tenders, beef bulgogi rice bowl with cabbage kimchi and fries…. Oh my absolute goodness it was all so delicious and fresh and I literally can not wait to go back! My son just sampled out of our leftover box and said we are not allowed to go back without him. Seriously, you guys got it so so right!!!

Best kept secret in Hickory for Asian food. Staff was helpful, place was clean and most importantly, the food was excellent. I had a spicy chicken bowl with a side of fried pork dumplings. Looking for Chinese takeout? Stop at 92Chicken instead!

I was starving on Saturday near old seventy. I saw this place from the road and decided to check it out. My partner and I walked in and were greeted by happy colors and good smells. He ordered the pork dumplings which arrived crispy and golden. Delicious. I got the number two combo, five strips and fries, served with coleslaw. I chose the spicy garlic sauce and it did not disappoint. They gave me extra strips. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. They gave is samples of cucumber kimchi and potato ban Chan for free. The cashier lady is super nice. I will definitely be coming back.

Korean food is my favorite as I grew up in a military town where we were blessed with many incredible, authentic Korean recipes – the food at 92Chicken is great, the Korean Beef Bulgogi is my favorite and add the Kimchi cabbage and Kimchi cucumbers — really fast service and worth the visit.

A really awesome place. Best Korean chicken I’ve had, interior is nice and clean, and the staff and owner were incredibly friendly! The price is super reasonable, and the taste is unlike any other fried chicken. Give this place a try if you find yourself in hickory; a definite 5/5. All of these reviews about customer service need to understand the difficulty with new locations and staffing issues. With fresh, made to order food, it takes longer and rushes make it even harder for these smaller businesses. Treat these guys well, they’re making awesome food!

Hands down the best fried chicken in Hickory. I had the spicy garlic chicken wings, French fries, cucumber kimchi and a drink. Everything was great! Chicken was crunchy even when sauced and it was super juicy. Some of the biggest chicken wings I’ve ever seen and it wasn’t just breading! If you’re in the Hickory area give this place a try! You WILL NOT regret it! Will be back soon!

Very happy Hickory has Korean Fried Chicken place! My usual KFC is in Charlotte so it is nice to have something much closer to home. Of course we tried the Soy Garlic Fried Chicken Wings, they were good. They needed a little more flavor, maybe more soy? Still, they were fried perfectly and the chicken was delicious! The dumplings were okay. Again, needed more flavor. I will try some of the other starters next time. Fries were fries and the kimchi was okay as well. Ultimately I was there for the Fried Chicken which I will be back for! I do wish they had kimchi fries, that would have just made it even better!

Stopped by for lunch for the first time. The establishment was clean and staff was friendly. The menu was very meat forward but all well prepared and only took ten minutes from order to receiving. There’s not much of an atmosphere inside but is still new I’m sure they are working on that. Plenty of seating split up into two separate sides to spread out. I had the spicy garlic chicken tenders and was pleasantly surprised. Will check out again when back in the area. Cheers!!
