Theirs a few places like this in El Paso that we need to support and keep in business. I ordered the Fried chicken with green beans and red beans and rice, the problem it took more than 45 minutes to get the meal, but again your not at any fast food chain that they have it waiting for you sense the morning. Here it’s freshly made with care and time, you can hurry perfect fried chicken. Crunchy cooked just right, the green beans were the best I tasted in a long time, the beans and rice needed a little work rice to hard for me. The problem here I think it was a little expensive for me, 8 pieces of chicken and they were all legs with 2 sides $39.99, butt again am always looking for a bargain you know me. Well overall great place try it out you won’t be disappointed, am going back to try out the gumbo.

So delicious! Enjoyed my meal I did the wings , collard greens and cabbage and broccoli and cheese all so delicious can’t wait to go back. Staff was so friendly. We’ve ordered before and enjoyed it! Banana pudding also amazing too!! Great portions

Food was amazing. We got the fried chicken, the ox tails, the ribs, the slap ya mama wings, the fries, the Mac and cheese and the collard greens. Everything was great, but the wings were out of this world amazing. The service was a little slow but so darn friendly that we didn’t mind. I only got a couple of photos because the food didn’t last. Will be going back we have to try everything on the menu.

This restaurant is something El Paso needs for the black community which we don’t find at all around here. I’ve lived in North Carolina, Kentucky and Oklahoma and miss my very good, ole Southern Fried Soul Food that I will not have to cook myself all the time. Finally too, a place that makes chittlins and banana pudding. A blessing to have and hope to last. Just waiting for more items on the menu. Wish though you had plate combos. Understand folks, this is not fast food. Had zero issues.

Was at door at 1 pm. It was locked. Man came to door & said 10 minutes as owner went shopping for supplies. Waited til 1:15 pm & left. No way to run a restaurant!
