The owner was very nice and the service was quick. The prices were reasonable for NYC.

Owner is so friendly and sweet! Onigirazu is full of flavor and is well put together. Definitely coming back. I would call ahead and order so they are able to make it fresh.

One of the best iced matcha lattes and jasmine tea I’ve ever had! It’s obvious that they were prepared the right way.

Great snack. Sharing a chicken cutlet seaweed sandwich is fun, it smells good inside like a sushi on rice seaweed salad smell.

Love coming here on my way to work. The owner is super kind and there’s always good food there. I tried the soft shell crab and it was super good. Definitely will be back. There is a 15$ card minimum just so you know! So definitely paying cash will be your best bet if you want to save on money.

This place is still a mystery to me. It’s never crowded, it doesn’t show any sophistication but there’s a mysterious environment that surrounds that tiny room that , somehow , makes it attractive. Nice simple Japanese food recipes – finger foods, and the owner/manager/chef reminds me a legendary Japanese writer , Kenji Miyasawa. A curious place I highly recommend.

The reviews are true. Tried the pork and beef sandwiches and they were both amazing. Very tasty sandwiches and good service. Def will be back. Thank you!

This restaurant is truly one of kind and it is a missed opportunity to visit Jackson Heights without stopping by this cafe! The owner is very kind and prepares quite a few vegetarian friendly onigiris—even though they are not formally listed on the menu. My favorite is the onigiri with cucumber, okra, seaweed, lettuce and mango. It is a great combination of sweet, savory, and salty! Please be patient if you have a special request because the owner is typically the only person working and he prepares everything fresh, so it is definitely worth the wait!

I will say that the interaction with the owner or manager in charge was a bit weird. I didn’t intend to pay with a card but he immediately said sorry credit card limit is $5…. To which I said… no worries I have cash. Anyways! Got my iced latte and was very pleasantly surprised! Very good coffee and a decent size too! I went early in the morning so there weren’t a ton of onigiri options. Guess I’ll have to come back!
