I found another hole in the wall. Hands down, MUST TRY THIS PLACE! Probably one of the best BBQ places I’ve been. For sure the best in Oklahoma! I tried the loaded fries. Damn! The brisket was so good! Definitely need to come back and try out other items on their menu. Had the pleasure of meeting Larry, he is the meat master and he actually competes bbq food competitions. No wonder the food is so good here.

First time at 96th BBQ. New owners and employees. Very friendly! Small dining area but they are glad to pack your order to go. The ribs were very tasty the beans were delicious. Was told the baked potatoes are their specialty. BBQ nachos looked delicious. This was their first week so they are working out the kinks, like how much meat to smoke. If your looking for some flavorful smoke meat give them a try.

I travel all over the country between 2 to 3 weeks a month. I am always looking for good Barbque spots. I come from the south, and sometimes it’s very difficult to find good “southern” Barbque. This place is a hidden gem. I ordered the rib plate with a ¼ lb of pulled pork. They smoke everything. Baked beans, potato salad, and fried Okra. I thought I was back in Alabama. If you’re driving north of Tulsa and in the mood for some good food, this is the place.

The dining room is tiny. There was no ice in the pop machine. There were numerous flies. That being said the food was delicious! I got a 2 meat meal with pulled pork and chopped brisket. For my sides I got coleslaw, which was very juicy but good, and baked beans which were particularly good. The portions were generous. The meat was smoky and delicious. I would definitely recommend this hole in the wall restaurant!

This place is nothing special. Even their signature meal is bland because they don’t do anything with the potato. It tastes unsalted and unbuttered. They’re hoping the topping will be enough. But people with tastes buds will be disappointed when eating the potato. The bbq is alright, but nothing to specifically go here for.

The food was delicious we order 2 ,4 meat dinners and we were so impressed as to how generous the servings were,also order the loaded fries which actually was big enough to share ,we were so full and still got left overs to enjoy the next day. Really delicious flavor. I will definitely be back.I didn’t take pictures but next time.
