I have gone to this 99 for over 20 years. They’re great sit down fast food with a nice atmosphere and great service. Unfortunately, I ordered takeout there recently that was not up to par and I called to voice my complaint. Rachel, one of the managers more than handled it and I’m very grateful. I not only received an apology letter, but also a gift card that more than covered what our disappointment cost. I really appreciate how the East Longmeadow 99 went above and beyond to make things right. I’m still a loyal happy customer!

Our experience at this 99 in East Longmeadow was not typical as compared to the others that we have gone. it started off bad when we were waiting for 45 minutes for food and then our waitress tried to tell us it was only 18 minutes and then chose to argue the point instead of just showing some remorse and saying she’d go check on it. That set an unnecessary tone. Once the food did arrive it was lukewarm as if it had been sitting for a while. My dish in particular was a seafood trio in a casserole dish which should have been much warmer. It was cooked in in a lemon type butter crumb sauce that tasted burnt and loaded with salt. it seemed as if was turning in into a rotton vinagery flavor. Our waitress never came by to ask us how things were or if we needed more water, etc. Once we got the check we attempted to pay it but the waitress wasn’t readily available so we went to the front counter and they wouldn’t allow us to pay there so we had to go back to the table. I excused myself to use the restroom which was very dirty and unkept. when I went back out to the table my party had already gone outside and just left the bill for the waitress to pick up when shee returned. I went the front desk to see a manager and tell of our experience but none were available. So I told the greeter to give the manager the message. They seem a bit dumbfounded so I just left. The 99 has normally been a reasonable mid-range restaurant to go to but I think some need to be randomly screened for the quality of food and level of service that has been pretty good over the years but lacking in some areas. Waited an entire half hour for curbside pickup. I ordered one salad with chicken and the balsamic chicken dinner with rice and French fries. Should have never taken that long when I ordered ahead and it said it would only be 23 minutes. It was a total of 52 minutes between ordering the food and receiving my order. The woman who came out didnt even apologize for the wait and wasnt very polite. The food itself wasn’t even good. The chicken was poor quality and the rest of the food wasn’t great either. Will not be back.

First they gave me the wrong sides. Second I ordered my steak tips medium rare and they were almost well done. Then they charged my debit card for the wrong amount. They overcharged me $11 more than the bill was for and no it was not the tip. Watch your bill. Don’t be quick to sign for the charge without looking at it first.

Amazing dinner! Our bartenders Kathleen and Dennis were so attentive and friendly! I had quite the sweet tooth after dinner and Kathleen recommended and crafted me one of the best milkshakes I’ve ever had! Thanks Kathleen and Dennis. Can’t wait to come back!

It usually is pretty good unfortunately, my experience was not the best. I ordered the French onion soup and I like it to be well done crispy brown, instead I got a black burnt. When the soup came out I looked at it and I said wow that’s really burnt. My friend got the same thing but hers was nice and crispy the way I usually get mine. I was told well do you want another one like a well. I order something else and I didn’t want that to be over cooked, it took nearly 45 minutes to get a burnt soup that I didn’t ask for. I can’t believe the bartender didn’t have the common sense to say to the cook what’s wrong with you. Can’t serve this. And the manager has a real nasty attitude. Honey if you don’t like your job quit. There’s plenty of other people out there who are looking for employment. Her name is Sheila. Instead of showing some compassion she was basically nasty about it. Like I told your cook to give me a burnt soup.
