Seven of us went to the 99 in W. Spfld, MA. on Wed. July 5th at 8:40PM. We were treated like enemies rather than customers. We had just finished performing in an outdoor summer concert. We hadn’t eaten since morning and we’re going in for dinner. We weren’t ordering alcohol. Even the manager shocked us with his rudeness. He said you can’t be in here after 9:30. One of our party left in disgust. Finally, we ordered and ate quickly. We were paid and done at 9:30. The manager walked over looking angry and politely, I said we are all set on time. He shouted we weren’t and continued his rant.

Good location. Super friendly staff. Food was just okay. Husband had a steak. He said it was tasty but tough. The sides were a little small on the proportions. I had the chicken fried chicken. It wasn’t very good. Tasted a little off. Sent it back. Biscuits were hard.

Showed up here by accident on trivia night while the place was packed. Fortunately the host was really accommodating and quick to seat us at an available table. The service and food were good and would come back again, but on a night other than a Thursday.
