We would not return to this location again because both men’s and women’s restrooms were unacceptable. The men’s restroom had water on the floor and the ceiling actually leaks water on you at the toilet – disgusting. Not sure if it is a plumbing issue or A/C condensation, but either way it’s unsanitary and health code violations on top of a safety issue that someone could slip and fall. My mother said the women’s restroom was one of the dirtiest she has seen at a restaurant.

Starbucks is Starbucks. You know what you are getting with the food and drinks. The service was a little odd. I was the only customer which is strange for a Starbucks. But the kicker was that the two employees seemed busy talking to someone or people that were not there. I looked at the drive thru and there was only one car. So they basically ignored me other than to take my order. But they did their job swiftly.

Kind of a weird thing they have started to do in the drive through, you order at the menu and they tell you to hang on until they say to pull forward(keep you there for 2-3 minutes). Keep in mind no one is in front of you. The window is open. Unsure why they do this. Did it again this morning. I had 3 cars in front of me and took 15 minutes to get my coffee.

The women’s restroom was out of order and the men’s was out of toilet paper, and it smelled like it had not been cleaned in weeks as the urine and ammonia smells were so strong and definitely not recent. When I spoke to the manager about it, she claimed it was cleaned 3 times a day but there is no way it has been cleaned in the last week. She just continued to make excuses saying that a bunch of people came through. The walls had dirt on them and the sink was grimy in places that were clear it was not from a group of people using one bathroom for the last few hours but lack of cleaning for days. We refused to buy drinks at that point as cleanliness is not a priority so why would their machines be clean either. The waffle house next door probably has cleaner bathrooms and that’s saying something.

I will NEVER step a foot back into this Starbucks on Bert Kouns NEVER. I feel like the workers in there are racist, I waited at least 5 to 8 minutes before a black guy came and took my order when there where 3 white workers already in the front. There where 2 white females and 1 older older white guy 1 female was doing drive through and the other female was making drinks with the older older white guy, once the female got done with some of the drinks she was just walking back and forward looking for something to do instead of taking my order while the white guy was somewhat kinda still making drinks. It took a black guy from the back to come up and take my order, and here comes an older white couple walking through the door and this when it gets crazy the older older white Starbucks worker rushed to take they order, a little bit later comes this black oldercouple and yet again it took a couple of minutes for a worker to take they order. Like baby we not in those times anymore enough is enough.

Went inside in hopes to use the restroom, but both were closed. I wasn’t greeted when I walked in, and as a partner I know that it is a requirement to greet customers upon their arrival, no matter how busy, though the store was not busy. We stood at the counter for 2+ minutes with no service at all. When they finally took my order the barista was short with me. They made my drink quickly, but it was not filled up all the way. Overall, bad experience. As an employee for Starbucks, I would never have allowed a customer to have an experience like I did today.

Ordered egg white spinach with feta cheese wrap and egg white with roasted red peppers bites. Both were delicious but took WAY too long to get the food. Especially something that comes pre-made and just has to be practically microwaved.

This morning I went inside the store. It is my birthday! I ordered a double shot on ice asked for no classic syrup add white mocha. I wanted it to be a venti! I waited for my drink and the barista called my name already super unfriendly. It was a venti cup with ice and 2 shots of espresso. I told her I don’t think this is mine. I asked for a venti double shot on ice. She looked at me rolled her eyes and rudely said what does this look like that’s exactly what it is! 2 shots of espresso over ice in a venti cup. I said no ma’am a double shot on ice in a venti size is 5 shots of espresso. She said no it isn’t. I even pulled out the Starbucks app and showed her what I was talking about. She said so what do you want? All I would be adding is milk not more shots of espresso. I was done trying to argue I just said can I just please get my money back. She then sarcastically smiled at me and said “gladly!” Then went to the same girl that rang me up and told her to refund my money I wasn’t satisfied. The lady that rang me up immediately started apologizing to me and was trying to make it right. I was trying to hold back tears and just said no thank you. You see my husband and I were on our way to southern hills animal clinic with our 13 year old dog knowing we were having to put her down unexpectedly. My emotions were on over drive. I just wanted a coffee I wanted something positive on my birthday and workers are usually so sweet and I just needed the pick me up. The girl that rang me up was SUPER sweet! The barista who made my “coffee” unfortunately was not. I just got back in the truck and started bawling. Long story short it takes ZERO effort to be kind, ZERO!!! You never know what battles someone is dealing with and she could have been dealing with one of her own but it gave her no right to be so rude to me.
