Great atmosphere in the back patio- felt like being invited to someone’s backyard. Salad was light and fresh, meatballs are quite Smokey from the pancetta but tasty if that’s you’re thing with a nice sauce. Pizza looks AMAZING but just tastes good, which was a bit of a let down. Maybe more sauce needed? Relaxed atmosphere and in a nice neighbourhood.

The food? Excellent. Priced right, good portions and the daily specials are always amazing. Lots of seating and plently of cool drinks too. It’s a tad dark and dreary inside, hence the rating and ok this night our waitress was especially grumpy and not very friendly. Did I mention the food was fantastic? Dinner for two under $60 with tax and tip in Seattle? Try it! You will thank me.

Nice Italian pizzeria and restaurant. Very good pizza and supplí, reasonably priced. The only thing we didn’t like was the service, or the sr. waitress was having a bad day: not a smile, barely a word, dishes basically thrown on the table.

Cozy spot with a smaller menu. We had grilled octopus, beets and pizza. Dessert was panna cotta. All were great. Would definitely go back.

Sis and I had another meal out on Beacon Hill in Seattle. This time we decided on Italian and found what we were looking for at bar Del Corso. I have heard a lot about this small café. And it did not disappoint. We started with a large plate of salad greens lightly dressed with vinaigrette, a generous helping of shaved parmesan and soft boiled eggs, paired with their baccala (salt cod and potato fritters). Dinner was shared small plates of house made Calabrian sausage and a generous bowl of Vongole alla Marinara (little neck clams in marinara sauce) with grilled artisan bread. Every dish was more than enough for two (more than we could eat anyway) and as delicious as they sound. There were two things that, if added, would have made this meal outstanding for me. A grace note of a bit more salt (but then, I have a palate that always craves a bit more salt and pepper) and a bit more fish in the salt cod. The cod fritters was the only dish that tasted lacking, however. It was a solidly great meal otherwise. Bar del Corso is a definite recommendation.

One of the best pizzas in Seattle. Awesome salads and drink menu. Nothing pretentious, just good old neighborhood joint with relaxing vibe.

The cocktails! Whoa! A whole ‘nother level. And when the bartender came over to explain the cocktail – the one with mezcal – we knew we were in good hands.

The food is absolutely delicious here and they always have a fresh selection of specials that make it hard to choose from! The service could stand to be a little more hospitable, but to each their own. Some guidance with the menu can be helpful. Also it’s super loud inside.

I wanted to enjoy it more than I did. The food was tasty, but the server didn’t even greet us. It takes two seconds. First things out of here mouth was, can I get you drinks. We got them, and outside of taking our order, never saw her again until we asked the water girl for help on getting drinks. No follow up at all. The place is a really loud if you have any hearing difficulties. And the hardest part was cutting the pizza with scissors without touching everyone’s slices. A bit of a gimmick. Food good. Experience meh
