My wife and have been to Top of the Marq a couple of times for date nights. Food is always excellent and cooked extremely well. They have a small menu but they do everything on it very well. Additionally, they have a wide wine and drink selection. I remembered photos of our apps but forgot to get pictures of or main courses.

I have great experiences every time I visit Top of the Marq. The cocktails are unique and tasty. The menu rotates seasonally so the food is always fresh. In the many times I’ve visited Top of the Marq, I’ve always been pleased with the food and drinks. One of my favorite parts of the roof top bar is the view of downtown Cape. The aesthetics of the entire building is immaculate.

The food was incredibly bland and cool. We got the asparagus leek bisque and it really should have been warmer and had some salt or pepper and maybe had a bruschetta bread or something to go with it. We also got the chicken piccata and the chicken was tender and not dry but once again absolutely no flavor at all! The pasta that came with it was cold. Like actually cold. It had to have been sitting waiting for the chicken to get done and got cold while sitting. There was no salt or pepper available to use and we wound up just wasting money going in there. However it did have a great view and nice ambiance.

I really like The Top of the Marq! We enjoy going here a bit later and getting the small plates and a drink. When the weather permits it is so nice to sit and enjoy our meal outside. The service has also been great each time. Recommend for a date night or place to hang with friends.

We were greeted warmly as we stepped off the elevator. We were there celebrating our 20th Anniversary. We we given the option of indoor or outdoor seating, we enjoyed the views from inside. The place is clean and very nice inside and out. Our server greeted us with water and she was very helpful and friendly. We wanted entrees, but with so many sharable option that sounded great…we did both. We started with the Truffle Fries and they are delicious. Then we got some Meatballs and Sausage Flatbread. Both were tasty and well presented. For entrees the wife chose the Steak Medallions with fingerling potatoes and I went with the Triple Cheese and Bacon Smashburger. We were both very pleased with the flavors, portion size, and presentation. We were extremely happy with the meal and the restaurant, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The manager checked with us and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our meal. We will definitely be back and we will bring friends.

The best restaurant in town, especially if you’re looking for upscale or a date night. I’ve never had a bad dish, the cocktails are great, and we’ve always had good service. I recommend the potato croquettes, blackened Shrimp, and homemade snickers!

We really enjoyed our dinner here, the food and drinks we ordered were excellent. Our waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable, our food arrived with good timing. The location was great being at the top of a historic building with excellent views of the downtown area and river. Inside and outside seating (not a large restaurant which would explain some of the reviews stating a long wait time, which would be expected during busy hours), also nice lounge area outside and a bar area inside. All the food was reasonably priced for the quality and atmosphere except for the steak which seemed overpriced for the type and size. Dfahers (top chef) in Dexter has a larger steak and shrimp combo at times for about half the price. We will be back to enjoy some of the different selections of food.
