A very popular restaurant, and rightly so, the decor is unique, our wait person was very informative (we were a party of seven and first thing she after she welcomed us was to state that they’re going to add 20% tip on top of the bill automatically) and she was really nice. The tableware was really pretty, the food was well presented, arrived hot, and in a timely fashion, everything was yummy, I had risotto. I think they are well known for their cocktails, but I didn’t have one. It was a celebration dinner so we had their Spanish champagne in flutes to do our speeches. It was a really nice evening. We sat inside, but they do have some outdoor seating. Patrons came in and just sat at the bar and had a drink as well. It’s street parking, and there seemed to be spots available on a Friday night. The ladies bathroom is really pretty (I got photos ) I made the reservation about three weeks in advance and they sent me a text right away to confirm and they sent a text the day beforehand, which I thought was very nice as it confirmed to me that they were expecting us on our special night.

First I have to give thanks to Arturo because I called this restaurant after finding out most places require a reservation in DC. He answered and said come straight over!! The decor, the vibe and the staff were amazing. The food wasn’t just YUMMY it was beautiful. We tried different foods and they were all delicious. Definitely check this place out and their bar area is cute too. I do suggest you make reservations, you might not luck up like we did… it is DC and this is one of the best restaurants.

I was really excited to try El Secreto de Rosita and it certainly did not disappoint. I went after work with some friends and we really enjoyed ourselves. From the food, to the attentive service and whimsical/ gorgeous ambiance it was well worth it. It especially was really cool to see how this restaurant had transformed from the previous Chi Cha Hookah Lounge!

Such a beautifully curated experience. Not only is the food amazing, the decor and heart of the restaurant is infused with family mementos. There’s something special about a family owned restaurant that operates at this level and curates such a great vibe!

The food wasn’t the best but the service totally made up for it. The ambiance, the server, the hosts, the drinks, the appetizers, the food runners were all great but our main dishes weren’t the best in our opinion. I will be coming back to give them another shot since they totally made up for it by how we were treated. I loved it!

Went when it opened for brunch and it wasn’t crowded at all until 11. Overall, the food tasted good. However, I would not recommend getting the pancakes for brunch. It was significantly less food than some of the other options that were the same price. The bottomless drinks were a good deal though!

The ceviche is very special. The anticuchos were at the right point of cooking but a little cold when arrived at the table. The arroz con mariscos was ok, need a lot more flavor. The decoration and atmosphere are nice. A little pricey

Food was outstanding. The waitress was so nice and knowledgeable. Walked my friends through all of the food and drink history and flavors. Dinner and a lesson! Highly recommend.

This was a cute experience. Just prepare to walk a block or two because parking isn’t the best. The design and art within the restaurant is truly unique and every detail was thought of. The food was good I was disappointed they were out of a desert selection. However the entire party I came with loved their dish. You must eat immediately when the food arrives ;in my opinion, because my food became cold quick and the rice for my dish was hard in some areas. The drinks were decent.
