We went on a Saturday night with no reservations and only had to wait about 30-40 minutes. Their Chikin was one of the best Korean fried chicken meals I’ve ever had. Everything from drinks to food to service was absolutely amazing.

SUCH a cool spot! Looking for a place with super unique drinks?! Look no further! All the drinks we had were very light and uniquely flavored. The food was amazing too… most of it was on the spicy side for my taste, but I loved the (I forget what it’s called but it’s the pic with the bowl of yummy goodness with the egg on top)! Service was amazing – very attentive. Only real complaint – the chairs are t super comfortable lol, but fine for drinks and apps!

Fun place, great food. Ryan did a great job taking us through the menu and our daughter tried bone marrow for the first time! The chef came over and explained the origins of our banana dessert dish. Tip-top experience.

This was ranked quite high up in the Washintonian. Went in not expecting much and really did stay there. Everything was WAYYYY too spicy, especially the Naengmyeon. And I am a person who can tolerate it and LOVE Naengmyeon. This is probably one of the worse I’ve had. It came with shrimp and it was just soggy and not fresh. Funny fact, when I was leaving the restaurant, I saw how they made the shirmp (since is a open kitchen, not a good idea in such restaurant). They basically boiled a bunch of shrimp and just dump it into a huge tray and let it sit there… No wonder the shrimp didn’t taste good. The only savior of the whole meal was the tater tots. I recommend that, even though it’s froze it was tasty. Not recommended oh well good to try

Absolutely delicious! Each dish continued to surprise me and I’m really glad we tried several and shared entrees. Highly recommend you do this so you get a taste of everything. The Citrus Soju was refreshing and can definitely sneak up on you! Definitely make a reservation. I loved the bar area and will attempt to go there for happy hour which seems to have great options.

I had an amazing birthday dinner here with some friends. The food was absolutely fantastic. I appreciated the portion sizes and price point and felt as though it was a reasonable meal. The beverages were fantastic and the bar even managed to prepare me an off-menu cocktail. Definitely a great spot.

I’ve been to Anju for both brunch and dinner. Each time, I am very excited and order way more than my stomach allows. However, there’s always one dish that misses the mark. This time at brunch, I got the crawfish juk and wished that I had just gotten a burger instead. I usually love juk but the crawfish had tomatoes in it, which did not go well with Korean style porridge. It was also quite watery, which is not the normal consistency of Korean Juk. The loaded tator tots were good, and I really liked the grilled mackerel.
