It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Ordered on the app and checked in immediately. Waited until the “your order should be ready” time…then another 30 minutes as 10 or more cars came through the drive through ordered and left. Before I had to call the restaurant and let them know I was still waiting. They brought out my order within 5 minutes that was incorrect and cold…they literally could not have done a worse job with my order.

Today I seen a worker feed their entire family & then sit her down while the line was wrapped around the drive thru & lobby. I was ordering my food & noticed her sitting in the lobby in her uniform & then served her family like it was a Mexican restaurant she brought them drinks & a few trays of food never one time paying for any of it. By the looks of the whole family they been eating free on whataburger for a while. It took me 25 minutes to get my one combo with apple pie. I honestly don’t blame the girl at the counter she took my order & even went looking for the order after noticing the long wait . But the entire wait I just kept watching this other worker going to the back & bringing out food to her family. That should be considered stealing. I asked for the manager her name is Ashley but she wasn’t available. The other workers were working hard especially the male cook with dreds. He did look frustrated but after seeing the woman go to the back three times to fetch food I can understand his frustration. It was an entire family more than $100 in food was brought out to them . I took pictures to show how unfair that is to paying customers. Not just that there is no reason a uniformed worker should be ignoring a long line in the lobby. If that is the case & she is off work go the home! Don’t watch your coworkers struggling and just sit there stuffing your face. It angered me for the other workers who are going in there & giving there all. This worker should be fired.

Ordered here last night and while I was in the lobby, our car got hit. The manager went and got the details and pictures if their plates and their photos from the camera before coming ams letting us know. Great customer service! Many people would have not even said anything. Thank you manager guy!!

Do not come!!! They fixed both of my meals totally wrong after the lady in the drive repeated the order back to me correctly! I called and the night manager was cool and apologized…. The next day I go inside for my meals to be replaced AND THEY FIXED IT INCORRECTLY AGAIN! If you order a #8 they will only put 1 patty when it’s a DOUBLE MEAT JR smh. Retraining is needed and simple reading skills of the ticket is also needed.

By far the worst location I’ve ever been to. Waited forever for my food, and it was COLD. Gave me the wrong drink. Go back inside to refill my drink with the right drink. The sweet tea was out. Had to wait for tea, even though they had sweet tea in the back the whole time! There were 3 women in the back doing absolutely NOTHING but talking to each other. The 1 lady in the front was doing literally everything by herself. Got a free fry because I waited forever, and BOOM, they are also cold. Can’t have it all go right at this location I guess ♀️

Don’t know what was going on with the morning shift but in drive thru it took twenty minutes to get a grilled cheese. Two drivers ahead of me drove off. The speaker didn’t greet, I had to ask if anyone was there, before being asked to wait. Then another 5 minutes and I asked if I needed to come inside instead before they finally took my order.
