It was a beautiful outdoor waterfront lunch. 2 of us shared the jambalaya and pork belly lettuce wraps and we were beyond filled. That’s 1 appetizer + 1 entree for 2 people = STUFFED!

I’m a big fan of their other restaurants (Sienna, Land Ocean), and decided to do our wedding anniversary dinner there.

South Fork is definitely a favorite for us. The food is amazing – the Fitness Special is the flavorful, yummy, high in nutrition and low on calories. I also loved the Thai Chicken salad!

We went here for the 1st time for my husband’s birthday. Really nice ambiance and the service was wonderful. Our waitress Jasmine made a point of telling us to take our time in figuring out what we wanted and answered all our questions and then some. We didn’t feel rushed at all. The drinks are named after spots on the American River and what we picked were delicious. The Lettuce Wraps were to die for! We’d definitely get those again! My husband had the pork chop, mashed potatoes and glazed carrots. The pork chop/chutney was delicious, as well as the mashed potatoes! In our view, the carrots could have been cooked a little longer. I had the Fillet with Bernaise sauce, cheddar mashed potatoes and parmesan brussel sprouts. The filet was good and the sauce was delicious, but it wasn’t as tender as I would have hoped and the cheddar mashed had some hot mustard in it, which was different, but not really to my liking. The parmesan brusell sprouts were good too, but not great. The coating didn’t taste like parmesan at all. Don’t get me wrong. It was all very good, but not great. (Sorry for the partially eaten dinner plate pictures! I forgot to take them before we started eating!) We’ll definitely go back again though and try something different. The peanut butter chocolate mousse was really good, and beautifully plated, with Happy Birthday written on the plate in chocolate for my hubby. Such a nice touch! We were very impressed overall.

The food was prepared very well and was very flavorful. If you order the pork chops, request to have it cooked to your preference, because it will come out pink in the center probably every time. The yellow lights in the restaurant make it hard for the photos to display how delicious it was. The service was amazing and we will return for more. We need more restaurants with great chefs like this in El Dorado, because it is lacking.

Quite possibly one of the best Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches I’ve ever had. And I grew up in Cherry Hill. Bun fresh, steaming & hot. Meat ample & perfectly seasoned. Fries perfect. Amazing Amazing Amazing food. Service was so great. Ambiance was modern and pretty but a tad sterile. But who cares… some seriously good food at surprisingly affordable costs. Wife and I found a new lunch regular.

First visit here with my wife, daughter, and her friend. We gave it a few weeks before trying so that they could iron out the kinks in a new restaurant. Seems like they need a few more weeks. The beer selection is minimal, the wine selection so-so, but they seem to have a good cocktail selection. The cornbread appetizer was good, although it had a strange taste on the bottom from the pan it was in. We all ordered entrees, and everyone seemed to like theirs. I ordered the roast chicken gnocchi and was very disappointed. On the first try, the plate was missing the gnocchi but instead had some small and some large croutons on the dish. After telling the Waiter, the Manager came to the table to apologize and said he would take care of it. I assumed I would get a new dish but instead, he brought out a dish of what could only be described as deep-fried potato flower cakes. I asked the Waiter for clarification and about 5-10 minutes later the same Manager came out and proceeded to tell me how this was a learning moment for the kitchen but he assured me that the gnocchi was excellent in the past and he would take care of it. By taking care of it he rightly so did not charge me for the dish. I felt he could have at least comped my beer as I walked out without having a meal. What a terrible experience and I do not plan to give it another shot as the manager gave me the vibe that I was an annoyance more than anything and he didn’t need my business.
