We are a casual dining restaurant a few minutes’ drive from Letchworth State Park. Located in Nunda, you can find us at Woodlynn Hills Golf Course.

Our cuisine is hand-crafted and made fresh with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Executive Chef Mike Vasile has created menus featuring well-loved American favorites and new flavors to love. we were excited to try the food here but after waiting 50 minutes for a bologna sandwich, a salad and a poutine to come out we ended up leaving. we were one of two tables in the entire restaurant, if it were extremely busy it would be easier to understand. after about 40 minutes we asked one of the servers when our food would be ready but she never came back to tell us and seemed to be purposely ignoring us. don’t waste your time here if you have plans because we ended up canceling ours because of this.

Today we had an unexpected and amazing experience at the Whistling Farmer Pub. We were greeted by Janel with a smile as soon as we entered. We found out they were only serving from their pub/lunch menu and we were looking for dinner entrees. She immediately asked us what we would be interested in from the entrée menu and would find out if the Chef’s would be able to prepare them for us. Which, luckily for us, they could. A shout out to Chef’s Edwina and Dee. Thank you for catering to our needs and providing us with two amazing Chicken dishes that were cooked to perfection, fresh and flavorful! Thank you to Janel for her hospitality, friendly and timely service at the bar. The entire experience, atmosphere and friendly staff made our day. If you’re ever in the area and in search of some great food, this is the place!

The new chef has done an excellent job with a totally new menu. Food presentation is good and the food is hot, unlike from the previous owners but a bit slow. Growing pains since they just recently reopened I’m hoping.

The Dirge
I golf a lot so I have been here a couple times now since reopening, this will be my last. The kitchen is always terrible, every time the food takes soooooooo long to get to our table after we order, and it tastes like its hot off a little blue sterno, why do they keep talking up the new Chef?? Hes a nobody and the food is just subpar at best. I MISS THE OLD FARMERS PUB =( sadly all good things must end, we need NEW NEW management. Guess Ill golf elsewhere too….
