My new favorite restaurant! The food is phenomenal. I tried the pork and chicken and they are exactly what you’d want slow smoked meat to taste like. The pork was tender and had amazing flavor. The chicken was juicy with the perfect amount of char. I can’t wait to try their ribs and brisket. Their Mac and cheese is delicious and their cornbread with honey butter was so so so good. I’m picky with my baked beans and theirs were different than any I’ve had, in the best way possible. Loved them! The owner and staff are friendly and eager. This place is going to be a staple in our community and I’m excited to see how this business grows!

The bbq really makes the experience here. This is some of the best bbq I’ve ever had, even after living in big food cities like Chicago and St Louis. No wimpy plates either. The platters will get you full. The tap has some good local brews, and there’s a wine list if you like to pair reds with smoked meat. Service is counter order, but the atmosphere is good for a sit down meal, and the huge patio has comfortable chairs, an awning cover for shade, and heaters for cooler weather.

Was at the Trek Farm this past weekend for a WORS Mountain Bike race and finally got to try the brisket sandwich & chips! Good smoke flavor, tender without being mushy. Chips went great with both sauces or just plain – much more flavorful than normal BBQ chips. Can’t wait for the restaurant to open!

Andrew catered a barbecue dinner of brisket, chicken, coleslaw, greens, macaroni and cheese, cornbread and rolls, for my son’s graduation celebration.The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed. the special sauces. He gifted my son with 3 jars of special sauces. Everyone LOVED especially the honey butter and tthe cornbread. Andrew was timely and set up was efficient and professionally done. Andrew was a pleasure to work with and this was all done long distance from Charlotte North Carolina to Sun Prairie Wisconsin! All paperwork was done via email and payment was simple and a one step process. We are excited for the new business!!! Thank you;-)

We ordered a full brisket from Brandon for a small party at our house ~17 people. We decided to use the brisket in a big nacho feast. Everything in the nachos was homemade, so the brisket was a perfect fit. It was the star of the show and was incredible! There was barely any left over from the party. People continued to talk about it after the party and how amazing it tasted.

Words cannot express how much we love Primal’Cue! We’ve been long time fans, trying everything from their St. Vinny’s pop-ups to Thanksgiving turkeys. This weekend, they even catered our wedding. My spouse and I met in Memphis, Tenn. so we definitely wanted a BBQ dinner at our reception. And it did not disappoint! Brandon and crew set up an incredible spread of brisket, pork, mac and cheese, and cornbread. We also had several vegetarians (including my husband!), and they knocked it out of the park on the vegan options with BBQ jackfruit, tangy green, and primal corn. Everyone is still raving about the food, and if you know any southerners, they are picky about their BBQ! And our local friends are so excited to try more sauces and pop-ups. Not only did they deliver on taste, but they were so pleasant to have at the reception. They took care of the set up, and chatted with all of our guests about the food. You can’t beat their BBQ, their prices, or their service!! If you’re reading the reviews trying to make a decision to book, I can tell you that you won’t regret it at all. We look forward to supporting their business and can’t wait to see it grow. These guys are THE place to go for BBQ!
