Went on a job in raeford and we were craving sushi so I called a friend that lives on that side of town for some suggestions. We were not disappointed. The set up was really nice. Wasn’t busy when we went on a Wednesday around 4pm. They have 3 sections. 1. Express side 2. Main entrance for tables and hibachi. 3. a bar side. Pricing was comparable to other places. They do have a 15% gratuity charge automatically which I don’t care for cause we do tip more than that when we go out. Which I’m sure they do tip sharing from it. Interesting is if you share your plate with someone else there is a $5 charge for sharing. Why are you going to tell me what to do with my food that I paid for. Overall it was a good sushi meal and very filling can’t complain about that. But my complaint is don’t tell me what to do with the food I purchased. So if I buy sushi and the other person orders hibachi and we share it because we want to taste and enjoy some of what we each have, you are going to charge me?

Decent hibachi style Japanese food. I came with a party of 4 and the service was exceptional. Our waitress constantly kept our drinks full and was very friendly. We ordered 2 appetizers and they were very tasty. For my entree I got the mikotos special which came with filet mignon, chicken and shrimp. It was good but it came with what seemed to be an entire onion worth of cooked onions. It was more onions than anything else. Also my friend requested only zucchini and he was given onions still and his shrimp was undercooked and it upset his stomach pretty bad later in the day. The last thing I’ll mention is the price. Expect to spend a good amount for the food here. I won’t say it’s extremely overpriced, but it is expensive. I’ve been here before years ago and it was exceptional, this trip in particular the food was not as good as we had hoped. Hopefully it was just a bad day but I would still recommend it based on past experiences and the food quality is still very good.

The more “fancy” side told me I wasn’t permitted to eat there or even order takeout because I wasn’t dressed properly or something. It was all white people and I’m from the culture so it felt racist even if they didn’t admit it (which why would they) and/or weren’t aware of it.

I went to pick up dinner for me and my family and the worst experience I have ever had here. I pull through the drive through window and a young black woman who looked like she was 19, was rude from the very second I pulled up. Had an attitude the whole time. She had asked for my number and I said I had not called and still needed to order. In a very rude tone she told me next time I had to come inside but for now she’d let it slide because I was already at the drive though. Then told me if someone else pulls up behind me I needed to pull off onto the side and she would have someone bring my food out. So I did as she said, and I waited for thirty minutes before finally parking and going inside to find out that my food had been ready for twenty minutes and she told no one or informed anyone that she had me to pull off on the side and to bring it out. So the food was cold. And when I tried to call to make a complaint about the young woman, another person caught an attitude saying they don’t bring the food out to people. So then why was I told that?? Not only that I have been going through the drive through without having to call every other time, and no one but her has said anything to me about that. Very unhappy and will never ever spend my money here again and I hope no one else does either. Because either higher better employees with better people skills or loose more customers because your people are rude

1st time coming to this place, however it was very good and our chef was phenomenal! I wish I had got his name but he was a bigger guy like myself and he was not only great cook, he was hilarious and kept us happy and laughing all night.

The service is the worst. They really don’t have any sense of customer service. Even with a reservation we wait more than an hour and ended up separating the group anyways. It was a nightmare to finally sit and order. I’m never coming back. The manager and the employees where horrible with us. The food is not that good and they will serve you the food and make you wait like 15 min to bring the utensils. Is the worst place I’ve ever been. IS NOT KIDS FRIENDLY AND IF YOU HAVE A KID WITH SPECIAL NEEDS DON’T EVEN BOTHER TO GO.

Tried to eat here with the family. Waited about twice as long as told, but not a problem. Got seated and sat 15 minutes, and no one came by to greet us, get drink orders, anything. At that point, it was pretty late, so we just left. Any sort of anything as to why they couldn’t be with us right away would’ve probably kept us there, but it was too late at night to go too much longer.
