I was excited to go to Freddy’s in Streetsboro as I’d gotten food from this location 3 times before and had been very happy each time. I was especially excited this time as they had a new pretzel burger that I had been looking forward to trying for a week or so. I went through the drive through and ordered my wife a spicy chicken and cheese fries and myself the pretzel burger and chili-cheese fries. The server told me that unfortunately, they were out of pretzel buns and that they would have to substitute a regular bun instead. Not a super big deal, I get it, but that was disappointing.

When I’m able to get inside the restaurant it is always dirty. Sticky, noticably dirty floors. Sanitizing buckets sitting out on the counter with rags next to them. Seeing the back of house is usually gross too. Today we couldn’t even get inside (picking up a DoorDash). We got there at 8:55pm and the lobby and drive thru were both closed with no signs indicating why they closed an hour early (posted hours said they close at 10pm), just locked doors and cones blocking the drive thru lanes. All of the lights were still on and workers were inside completely ignoring us. It’s like there’s no one running the place.

Told them it was our first time, and they actually came to our table to ask how our meal was. It was great, a lot of food per meal. IMO, it was a great deal. Having come to our table shows they care about your experience even if it was just a first visit. Checking on your guests’ dining-in doesn’t sound bad being a fast food restaurant. I wouldn’t mind if they came to your table to make to make sure your meal was great every time.

Came through the drive thru and I found a long hair on my burger. Took the burger in and they offered to remake, but while they were remaking it the woman working was shouting “That hair must’ve been sitting in the condiments all day and I didn’t notice. Probably in the lettuce”. At the time of my visit it was 8 p.m. so who knows how many people were served from a dirty condiments station. It was too late at that point to refuse my remade burger from them but I quickly threw it away after I left because my appetite for this place was completely ruined after that experience .

We ordered 2 burgers and a shake. Burgers were good. We received frozen custard, which I see now was on the menu, not milk shake. I would have expected to hear that they did not have milk shakes, just frozen custard. Just a misunderstanding. I was surprised that the custard was in a plastic cup. That’s better than styrofoam, but it’s a #5 which is unlikely to be recycled. Only 1 and 2 get recycled. I’m surprised a high volume place like this wouldn’t just use a paper cup which must be cheaper and more environmentally conscious.

We are from out of town. We do not have a place like this at home. We were very satisfied the staff was awesome from the girl that took our order 2 the cook Steve. We were very pleased with everything. We will be back in June. My whole family loved the service and the food! Never enjoyed a burger like that! You all keep up the great work!

Found pieces of clear, shredded plastic in each of our concrete ice creams (turtle and reeses). Called to notify and transferred with someone as the manager. No one introduced themselves or asked for my receipt number or anything. Just asked if I wanted to come back to the restaurant. I said no, I don’t want anything. I just want them to fix it because that is a big food safety issue. All they stated was we will check the ice cream machines and “Sorry, about that?” (As a question) I hope they do fix any problems, especially basic food safety handling. My family and I are definitely not going to return.
