I’m at a loss for words as to how to accurately describe my experience on 5/17/2023. I showed up and a family was in front of me. There was a language barrier and the employee was clearly irritated with the customers. He went to the back and got someone else to assist the customers. The man that took over was clearly irritated that he was pulled to assist. Idk if he was the manager or what but the way he talked to the other employees was unacceptable. It was my turn to to order he again was clearly irritated and attempted to rush me along. No greeting just a “what’s your order”. I ordered a bowl and the meat and cheese was sliced and thrown in the container. No roll and slice like it should be. I had to ask the guy finishing the sub with the veggies to roll the meat and cut it. Which he did but the entire thing was sloppy. Let’s not talk about the cross contamination… there was absolutely no care for cleanliness what so ever. The entire experience was stressful and NOT how any other location I’ve been to is ran. Corporate desperately needs to take over this location and fix it to the standard of the company. I am not from this town, just visiting, and this experience would NEVER fly in Washington State where I am from. I will not be back and I’ve cautioned my family to never go to this location.

Yum, the chipotle chicken cheese steak is fully loaded with onion and peppers and cooked to order. You can customize any of thier sandwich to your liking. I always add lettuces and tomatoes to mine with that rosemary parmesan cheese bread. You definitely can’t go wrong! I love the reward points they add up fast to get free products.

I have been coming to this restaurant for almost 20 years and never have I had a bad experience!!! Their meats are premium here nothing processed !!! And you can really tell the difference at first bite from their competitors. This restaurant is always super, super clean!!!! I personally have never seen a backup in the line due to the sandwich maker(s) follies.!!! Everyone is trained well there, that’s good management and good employees. I think they have the best cheesesteaks (The Big Kahuna)anywhere close to here (Gastonia). When I don’t feel like a carb overload, I do the sub in a tub it is any one of their subs(meats) made as a salad . My favorite is the buffalo chicken/w Ranch dressing tub. There is plenty of good food to go around here!!!

Based on the comments I see about irritated employees and bad service I should have never gotten food from this location and this track from a recent experience my mother had in person and then I experienced over the phone. We placed the order and asked for the sandwich NOT to be cut. This is a preference bc I have observed the same cloth used to cut sandwiches also be used to wipe down other dirty surfaces and in my opinion this is unsanitary. Once the sandwiches was cut we asked for a new one to be made bc the person didn’t get it right. My mother was met with attitude by the person working there. I called back to express my concern over the customer service and the person first said they didn’t remember helping her but after I started complaining, instantly stated defending their actions and responded with short answers indicating they didn’t make it wrong. I’m my opinion, it wasn’t made how we asked ie, wrong. He was short and rude and disregarded my issues. I know finding good help after COVID is hard but this is a shame. This person also said he was the manager and the fish stinks from the head down. If zero was an option they would have it.

I am from Philadelphia so I always ask the have the hoagies, I mean subs to have the vegetables in the middle with meat on the bottom and on top of the veggies. They have never given me a problem with doing it that way. Kudos to the staff. Always polite.

I was starving today! I needed a healthy option. So thankfully I remembered Jersey mike’s, and I decided to visit this particular location for the first time. The young men seemed a little tired when I walked in, but they quickly gave excellent customer service, and created the prettiest Italian subs in a tub that I’ve had in all my years of going to different Jersey Mike’s. It was so beautiful that I ordered a second one. And I could not wait to get home to eat it! Their sanitation grade is a 98 at this time, but I feel good about them making 100% next time around. The dining area was clean. And the associates were wearing masks.

I went in lastnight to get a sub after I tried to call twice to place a to-go order, and no one bothered to answer. I have never ever had an issue with someone answering to place a order. Get there a little after 7:15 pm, it’s literally dead. One person was at the counter ordering while there’s at least 1-2 other employees I see doing nothing. The girl with the brown messy bun and piercings in her face needs an attitude adjustment. She got an attitude with every single person she rang up at the cash register. I told her I wanted to add lettuce to my sub before she rang me up and she went to the kitchen to tell the person making it, and when she came back, she said “Jesus” loud enough for me to hear. I’m not sure if she was referring to her co-worker or me, but either way, extremely unprofessional. Only reason I come to this location is because the subs are usually always delicious but this girl has an attitude every single time I come and she needs to not work in customer service if she’s going to be nasty all the time.

Food is good. Customer service is not. You always feel “unwanted”. The mgr/owner is rude and rarely smiles. Doesn’t seem to value your business. So if it’s just about the food then 4 stars, but if you want good food and good service then don’t go to Jersey Mikes at Franklin Square Gastonia.

Store runs by creepy employees. Online ordered stop at 7:45 pm. So we went to the store we were told cash only. We paid cash receipt wasn’t given I asked for receipt employees started shaking and gave me cancelled transaction receipt. I am sure they are stealing cash. Also, I witness an employees was treating few customers horribly. Defiantly taking this issue to their corporate.

Absolute terrible service. Terrible attitudes from the get go, and were extremely rude to all customers that were in there. 50 year old white male making the sandwiches needs to find another job. He’s absolutely miserable working there and it shows. Do better.
