Wines
Réserve Sparkling Dry Rosé, Charles De Fère, Bourgogne, FR
This lovely salmon pink wine with fine bubbles has an expressive and fruity nose with red fruit aromas. Very soft to the taste with unctuous fruitiness. This premium mousseux finishes with a touch of sweetness. Varietal: 30% Gamay, 30% Cinsault, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Sciacarellu
$20.00
Rosé, Chateau Beck 2018, Yakima Valley, WA`
Pale orange, mineral tinged aromas of raspberry and tangerine are complemented by a subtle floral top note. Shows good intensity and cut on the palate, offering tangy red berry and bitter cherry flavors, with a touch of zesty orange pith. Varietal: 79% Syrah, 21% Viognier
$20.00
Muscadet, Les Frères Couillaud 2017, Loire Valley, FR
Broad, round and rich, this wine holds its freshness close to its core. The vines are between 40 to 60 years old and find firm footing in mica schist soils that give rise to fruit that is focused, persistent and clean. A bit of bottle age brings amplified expression and targeted concentration. Varietal: Melon de Bourgogne
$25.00
Chardonnay, Jordan Winery 2017, Russian River, CA
A touch of oak starts this off, with a palate built by tight-grained tannins and integrated fruit. Flavors of stone, white flowers and ripe apple combine to create a nuanced yet rich feel. Varietal: Chardonnay
$35.00
Petite Sirah, Northwest Cellars ‘Kiona Estate’ 2014, Red Mountain, WA
A purity of dark fruit reminiscent of blackberry jam and black cherry preserves with a whiff of tar. Those rich tones are matched on the palate that brings along a pleasing structure of espresso tannins. Varietal: Petite Sirah
$35.00
Château Marjosse, Bordeaux 2016
Medium bodied and forward in style, the wine is earthy, fresh and soft, with an open, friendly personality and a plummy finish. Varietal: 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon

$60.00
Burgundy, Domaine Michel Gros Nuits-St-Georges ‘Les Chaliots’ 2016, Burgundy FR
Aromatically this wine has a structure nose of tart raspberry reduction and strongly seeped English tea. On the palate, the wine shows to be youthful and crisp, with delightful red fruit flavors and well-balanced acidity. Varietal: Pinot Noir
$65.00
Château Malmaison, Baronne Nadine De Rothschild, 2011, Bordeaux, FR
Deep crimson color. The nose is expressive and intense, with fresh fruit (black currant and plum) aromas, a touch of menthol, and delicate hints of oak. The wine starts out rich and full-bodied, going on to show considerable elegance and a fine balance between well-focused, velvety tannin and acidity that contributes freshness and length. Varietal: 80% Merlot; 20% Cabernet Sauvignon

The atmosphere is great, romantic and cozy. Service is quick and thoughtful. Food is well presented and street parking is not so hard to find. However, I think it’s really overpriced. The food is okay; the taste is not creative. The crostini was very burnt that gave a bitter taste. With the range of $20-30 for the main dish, I would expect a little more from this place.

Visited based on a recommendation and I must say I am glad I know of this venue now. A quaint little cafe with a generous outdoor seating; perfect for a brunch or late lunch on a sunny day. They serve authentic french fare – the onion soup is to die for. Also worth mentioning is the cheeseburger and the accompanying fries – as if straight from a friterie! For dessert, share a plate of soft fluffy Beignets with coffee.

I was with a large party and we were well taken care of. (Gratuity included in the bill) The food was great. Great steak, seafood and fries. The puffed potatoes were cool and tasted good but not worth the high price. The beef bergonion is top notch and recommended. I will definitely come back. Oh did I say the original cocktails were good too?

The sad news first: Luc is closing at the end of August due to losing their lease. Get in if you can. This is French comfort food blended with touches of haute cuisine. The proprietors are incredibly friendly, as is all the staff. Everything my wife and I tried was superb. If Luc opens in another location, I will be one of the first in line.

Great brunch spot that takes reservations! The food was delicious and the service was great. Plenty of street parking available around the restaurant. Definitely recommend the beignets (light and fluffy), the crêpe poulet roti and the eggs Benedict

Basic, warm interior with comfort french food. We enjoyed the french onion soup and beef bourguignon. Meet in beef bourguignon was melt in your mouth tender. Awkward hostess and uninteresting atmosphere dropped review one star, but I would gladly return.

Had an enjoyable enough meal and everything was well executed, but didn’t find it mindblowing for the price. I’ll still be sad to see it go though.
