Awesome place, the host got us a bar side seat promptly. We did not have reservations and they were booked solid. Bar tender Louis was awesome and I had one of the best cocktails ever. The name was when in Rome and it had Serrano peppers and a fun tasty rim. If you‘re in the La Grange area check this place out.

Stumbled upon this gem last Fall and look forward to every chance I get to come back! Bar is welcoming with great rotation of house cocktails and friendly staff to help you decide what’s a good fit for your current mood or food selection. Food is always amazing. Whether it’s a small plate or full meal, I’ve never been underwhelmed.

Visited for dinner on a Saturday. We had reservations and were seated quickly. There were plenty of open tables though. Service was great. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was average. The steak was cooked as requested but a little dry and wasn’t very flavorful. The scallops smelled delicious but also lacked the flavor we expected. Cocktails were just ok, I’ll stick to beer or wine if we return.

We were very excited to try this place out as we are seasonal menu restaurant lovers…. However, the chef clearly has a sweet tooth. The olive board was full of sweet sugary things which were just ok. On to the business, I ordered the beef short rib, the connective tissue hadn’t been cooked down enough so the “pull” was tough more than i would have expected. The short rib was atop a parsnip foam with potato’s stuffed into it which rendered the potato’s useless in my opinion, everything was one note “sweet” and the bottom of my short rib was not chard at all which is weird. My wife did enjoy her ravioli but she did note that it had a strange sweetness to it that she didn’t care for. Unfortunately we will not be back here for the food. Service was great and the interior is cute.

At first I got a weird vibe when asked if the rooftop was available when greeted by what I think was a manager and hostess. They looked at us and each other, which was awkward and uncomfortable and made us feel unwelcome.

We had postponed Thanksgiving this year and didn’t have a place to go. We drove to Lagrange in the hopes of getting a steak and found FourteenSixteen. They were only serving a Thanksgiving meal, they had already taken their last reservation but made room for us late comers. Everything had great flavor. We had a very good first time experience. We’re going back soon.

Held my bridal shower here and the rooftop fit 36 people comfortably. Andrew the event coordinator was so great to work with and kept the party going on day of. Would highly recommend using the rooftop space for events! I got a ton of compliments on the food and drinks too.
