After this locations health score last month, I was skeptical to go back to our preferred location. Always wait in the online queue, especially if you go on a Sunday! The food was delicious as always, the eggs were fine and hopefully kept correctly. Also the gluten free options are quite tasty

Food was delicious. The service was great. We went on a late Friday morning and utilized the “waitlist” via google. We checked in and it took 40 min until we were seated and additional 40 minute wait for our breakfast meals. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone and visit again.

Cool. Sat with little doggie outside. Avocado toast (#1 on their menu). Tasty! Worth the wait. Crowded on a Saturday morning. Wife had pancakes with a lemon taste that she really enjoyed. Fun saying hi to other dog owners who also were sitting outside with their doggies. Waitress was good and professional.

This First Watch location used to be our preferred location. Every Friday morning after my husband and I dropped our son off at school, we would get breakfast here. Right around this location’s failed health score last month, we started noticing the food quality and service lacking. Our food took extended time to be cooked and served. On one occasion, a cup of soup was not hot when it was brought to our table. We wouldn’t see our server for extended periods of time. We also witnessed a couple of tables not being greeted timely, and they got up and left.

We were seated fairly quickly when we arrived on a Friday morning around 10. We waited for 15 minutes for our server to come arrive and we ordered our drinks and meals. The drinks came fairly quickly but after waiting 45 minutes for our food, we left. The front of the house tried charging us for our food, we explained to them we never received it and would not pay for something we never received. The waitress came over and apologized and assured us our food should be right out. We didn’t stay. No one came to tell us why our food was taking so long. We saw our server once in that 45 minute time frame to drop off our drinks. This is the second time in a row we have had a bad experience with First watch, Lovell Rd location and now Turkey creek location. We will not be back.

First Watch is usually our go-to for our weekly breakfast date. The food is usually better than most local joints. However, this morning’s experience was awful. We came in and we’re seated right away. They weren’t terribly busy. But after waiting over 20 minutes for our food, we tracked down a server (our own server was never to be seen after taking our order), and she said it was “just going to be a few more minutes.” After almost fifteen minutes more, she came by and told us our food was still not ready. (Our original server still didn’t come back.) At this point, if our food wasn’t out in three minutes, we would have to leave. We ended up leaving. We understand that it’s not the server’s fault when the kitchen isn’t running properly, but if they already knew that ahead of time, they could at least said something up front, like, “Just so you’re aware, our kitchen is short staffed. It might take at least thirty minutes before your food comes out.” That would have given us the option to go somewhere else if we needed. All told, we were in the restaurant (seated right away) for over 45 minutes and never got our food. Our morning was ruined. Do better, Fist Watch.

Unless you like waiting an hour for eggs then this isn’t the place for you. For context, I came here to eat with my husband on a Sunday afternoon around 12:30. Yes it was busy, but we were seated immediately. We ordered very quickly after being seated. It took an hour until we even got our food. The most frustrating part about this was that multiple tables who came into the restaurant 20 minutes after we ordered got their food before us! I don’t know who is “managing” this First Watch location but they definitely need some guidance on how to properly run a restaurant. During this hour wait for eggs our waitress didn’t once stop by our table and apologize or explain why the food was taking so long to come out. I had to flag her down to find out what was going on. Multiple tables in the restaurant got up and left and I can definitely understand why. At this point you would think a manager would have at least comped something from the meal or even just came by our table to apologize but that never happened. If the kitchen cannot handle making food for this busy of a restaurant then they shouldn’t seat all of tables. Breakfast courses should never be taking an hour to make. Definitely will not be back.

So impressed with how much better this restaurant has become! A few months ago we stopped coming because the quality of the food was not good and it seemed like no one wanted to be there. Our waitress was SO sweet, Kelsey thank you! And the manager Austin checked on us. Very very impressed. Keep it up !
