Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This is a 0 star rating because this location does not represent the Whataburger Foundation well. It seems after 5pm when their kid employees get out of school, there is a huge difference in service. Several unsatisfactory orders including uncooked food, missing items and severe lack of customer service. They don’t pay much attention to time and detail nor be hospitable towards their customers. Store Manager, Tiffany Velazquez, is almost never available in the evening to adhere to any customer complaints. From the drive thru window, I have witnessed the PM Team Leaders/Shift Managers allowing these children to offer really mediocre service without giving any corrections – which deems them purposeless. I called in for a small complaint (missing an extra chx strip which was purchased by card) and small, affordable refund of less than $2. I spoke with Tiffany, who told me the only way I could be adhered to was if I drove all the way back to the restaurant @11pm. Being a previous Whataburger employee and knowing how their POS system works, I initially am annoyed and will now publicly verify that it is possible to process a refund over the phone if that manager wants to do their job. I didn’t even worry about it, although I just cannot move forward without sharing these photos taken less than 24hrs apart. I’m sure y’all can tell which order of onion rings I received in the evening time.

It seems as if every single time I visit the Whataburger location I have problems. Spent an hour at d my time with something that should take 10-15 minutes. Instead starting with the cashier Jasmine, she forgot to ask about rewards and forgot to apply them. After I received my food, I drove halfway home to look in the bag and see that my order was HALFWAY COMPLETE. Missing chicken and onion rings. When I went back, I asked for food to be fresh. Waited another 15 minutes, JUST FOR THE FOOD TO BE HALFWAY COMPLETE AGAIN!!! AGAIN!!!! The only reason I come to this location is because it’s close. Think it’s just time to switch to MANOR LOCATION. EAST PARMER IS NOT IT.

More times than not they always get the order wrong or they just give something entirely different than what you ordered. service takes forever. And most of them are standing around or talking on the phone and not actually working. The food is mediocre at best and sometimes you’re waiting up to an hour and a half to two hours for something very small that you ordered or for any food for that matter

I am a huge fan of Whataburger, but this location has definitely changed that. Every time I go they take over 10mins for an order. I would understand if they are making them fresh yet the burgers taste and look like they been under a heat lamp for awhile. Last time I went for biscuits and gravy just the platter. They took 8mins just for that. Will never go back and will definitely tell friends/relatives to go somewhere else. Not expecting the employees to go above and beyond but I’ve been to other fast food places where the customer service is somewhat bad but the burgers are good.

The dining area at this location was dirty and neglected. I noticed several customers wiping the seats with napkins before sitting down. What’s worse, there was a group of at least two managers sitting at a table in plain sight of dirty tables and chairs that did nothing to rectify the situation as if the customers shouldn’t expect a clean dining area.

Ordered pick up for asap and live 15 mins out. I arrived at the restaurant only to be ignored for twenty mins until someone asked me my mobile order name. On top of that the order wasn’t even started and I had to wait behind other customers who continued to line up afterwards. If I’d known I wasn’t going to be serviced being in the right spot I would’ve jumped into the regular line. A 30 min trip turned into an hr. Never again

Wow such honest and friendly staff. I forgot my wallet in the bathroom. Called up there and it was turned in with every dollar and credit card in place. Unfortunately they are slow making orders even during off times.

This Whataburger is the closest option to our house of any restaurant or grocery store, and my wife and I have given this location multiple opportunities to win us over only to be met by poor food prep, missing items, long wait times, or any combination thereof. So, after six months, we gave this place one final shot. While the food seems to have improved and is at least hot and timely when served, unfortunately their customer service leaves MUCH to be desired. At the service window, we were offered free dessert or burger if proof of survey was provided, the lady at the window even wrote it on the receipt. Returned later that day after filling out the survey and they WOULDN’T HONOR IT and then insisted accompanying purchase of fries and drink was required (dessert not available, only burger). It is very frustrating to go back and be greeted by that. I planned to purchase additional desserts but ended up leaving frustrated instead, all because of a pie costing a buck fifty. Instead I will NEVER go to this location again and I will tell anyone who will listen not to go. The food and poor service is not worth it.

Worst whataburger experience. 50 minutes in drive through, made to move to the white line so other orders could be moved, and I got forgotten about. Not complicated order, just a burger with cheese and mayo.

On 6/11 we waited for 40 mins for a breakfast sandwich in the drive thru. I usually do not go to whataburger. Is this normal? I thought this is fast food! I will not be returning to this location as it seems very unorganized with a bunch of kids with no clear direction.
