It’s like enjoying a cup of coffee inside a roasting facility minutes after the beans were roasted! True coffee connoisseurs will appreciate this scenario: sipping on a cup of coffee, while sitting next to bags of green beans, beside the large roaster, with the lingering smell of the last roast, sets the stage for a very authentic experience.

I got the mocha mint coffee and it was the perfect amount of mint, not really strong! The sticky bun is delicious! They have hundreds of different coffees from all over the world and in many infused aromas! Also plenty of tea to choose from! Love the coffee bean bags in the decor ! Lovely staff as well!

We have been coming to Notting Hill for at least 15 years and loved this place. It was so cool cause the owner was there and there was such a homey feeling. The food was special and delicious. But in the past few years we have felt that it has gone downhill.

Nice little coffee spot. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many different flavors of coffee beans available.

This place is a mess. The workers were all rude and in bad moods. They complained there was a line at 9:30 in the morning. The woman taking our order kept bending down with her head behind the pastry display case and trying to talk to us. No one could hear her and when she stood up she was clearly upset with us. I politely told her that I could not hear her. She rolled her eyes, asked us what else we wanted and huffed away when I asked for two iced coffees with our order. After finally paying for our order we were handed cups of ice to go get our iced coffee. We had to weave though the crowd as well as the over abundance of decor laying around. Then squeeze between the counters to get our coffee. The coffee was absolutely disgusting. I love coffee and I adore small businesses so I went out of my way to visit this place before exploring the area with my family. We were all very disappointed and tossed everything we ordered after taking a sip and bite.

I come here pretty often and everytime the staff is always very nice and helpful. They have a great coffee selection and plenty of different drink options. Wish they have a more clear drink menu though. You’re able to buy the burlap sacks in the front of the store which is awesome. They have nice pasties as well.

I’m very simple and easy going. I ordered an oat latte, very simple. They filled the cup half way full and handed it to me. When I asked for more milk they looked at me like I was crazy. I should have known by the way she was steaming the milk she didn’t know how to make a latte. It was so hot that I couldn’t even hold the cup with a sleeve on it. I had to ask them for another cup and again they looked at me like I’m crazy. No one tried to remedy the solution or even remake the latte. I would never recommend that place. If you know good coffee and appreciate that, you will be extremely disappointed. I honestly never leave reviews but the atmosphere of this place and the lack of understanding on how to make a latte is awful.

We decided to give this place a try since it was within walking distance from our rental and we wanted to do some exploring as we have not stayed in Lewes before. The reviews seemed ok so we walked down. The menu on the board had no listed prices. We ordered and found a seat. As we waited for our food we noticed multiple people questioning pricing as well as people that came in because they were offered refunds from previous takeout orders. This started our conversation of our bill. When I said how much it was we decided there must be a mistake. Our croissants came out, about 20 minutes after we ordered. The croissants was good leading to the 2 star review. The egg and sausage maybe filled 1/2 the sandwich. Not to mention when we asked the staff about the pricing disparity we were told the owner was a baker and not much of a business person and didn’t update the website pricing. Almost 20% higher then what is listed on line. Also there were a lot of flies in the building. Even though they has a fly strip roll over one of the tables… I understand this is a small business but I found all this unacceptable and found many much better options to still support local businesses that were actually interested in earning our business. I am someone who looks at reviews to decide on new locations to try. That’s the reason for this review.

Didn’t come for the coffee, came for lunch. Smelled amazing. Great, friendly staff. Very accommodating. Salads and smoothies were pretty good. Nice vibe. Would come back.
