We didn’t plan to eat in Timber Room. We were just walking around the area and my sister got hungry. So we’ve decided to try out the place. I walked in and asked the bartender if we need a reservation and he was very polite and said no, as they were not busy that day. So we got seated and ready to order. My brother-in-law wants the 32oz wagyu steak prime rib and so does my sister. Good thing the server explained it to us that one order is good for 3 people. So that’s what we did and we also ordered a couple of food. Although the steak is quite expensive but it’s worth it! We had great experience. The service and the food is perfect! We will definitely be back when we visit Telluride next time.

The Timber Room wasn’t opened when we first visited Mountain Village in December of 2020. It’s located within the Madeline hotel and they did a fantastic job with the layout and decor of this establishment. The Timber Room is definitely a great place to visit in Mountain Village if your looking for a higher end apres experience after a long day of skiing or hiking.

The food and presentation were phenomenal however service was very poor. We were not checked on throughout the meal and often had empty glasses. When we were ready to cash out we waited quite some time before we flagged down a server to ask about our bill as we hadn’t seen our own server since our food arrived. Apparently our server went on break without having someone cover our table. For the price point I anticipated much better service.

Food and drinks were excellent. The service was so odd that it took away from the meal. We had 5-6 different servers, were introduced to the menu twice and then never offered dessert. For a high end restaurant they could improve their “team” model of service. No one was in charge

Fire . Great service, ambience is on point, and that tomato bisque tho ‍ . Better order the double. Don’t sleep on the soup of the day. Bone marrow, and fried rabbit – also . Don’t think. Just go.

The fondue itself was ok (had much better), but the price is very reasonable and it is served with a lot of additional dipping foods. The decor is great! The service from Hector made our day – very welcoming, professional and friendly!!!!! Thank you!!!!
