Recent reviews were concerning but it’s also hard to fault an establishment when the main cause for poor reviews is lack of staff. Thankfully we were given an excellent server who was extremely attentive, personable and the highlight of our visit to Bertucci’s…thank you Snizhana! Pizza, pasta and bread were great. Salads were giant. Gelato was 100x better than some we got in the north end the night before. Prices were reasonable. Would recommend based on our experience.

Was told 30 min wait turned out to be an hr wait and the host was also making pizzas without gloves. Super sanitary. Grabbing menus, seating people, then making pizza. Not to mention they sat 2 party’s before our party even when they arrived well after our party. Said there aren’t any seats and I walked around the whole restaurant and found about 10-15 tables empty.

I really loved the atmosphere in this place. The server was super attentive 🙂 I ordered spaghetti and meatballs, it was delicious! Bread was served as well, it was warm and soft. The prices are reasonable and there’s a big variety of Italian food. I highly recommend this place!

We had a great experience while dining in with my daughter and friend. Wait staff was attentive and the manager took the time to check in with us when there was a slight delay in the kitchen due to a huge take-out order. It’s great to have a place like this nearby— a nice meal without breaking the bank.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and now I bring my children here which is so sweet. They LOVE the rolls and salad! Alexander is so sweet and a great server. He was extra kind to the kids. Joe also made us a delicious meal and was very welcoming. The update to the restaurant is a really nice change, especially with the cute Gelato bar! You can’t beat the lunch menu!

I have been coming to Bertucci’s Italian Restaurant for over 25 years. I have had many dinners, birthdays and even my high school graduation dinner at Bertucci’s. I had recently taken a break from Bertucci’s as a previous experience had left a bad taste in my mouth. This past Sunday I was visiting family in Newton and decided to grab dinner for everyone. Out of convenience, I decided to ordered online. The third-party online vendor that Bertucci’s uses had an issue processing my order. My payment was processed but my order was never sent nor was I sent a confirmation email. The only thing I had was my bank statement. I was ready to just give up on Bertucci’s and contest the charge with my bank. However, Marty the manager told me to head on down and talk to him. When I arrived at Bertucci’s, I was pleasantly greeted by Marty. Marty and I conversed and ultimately he found a solution for my problem. The solution Marty offered was reflection of his gratitude for me being a loyal Bertucci’s costumer all these years. I came in there ready to never come back again and Marty changed that. Marty lived up to the Bertucci’s family promise of “Always treat you as part of the Bertucci’s Family.” Instead of being left out in the cold the Bertucci’s family took care of me. Thank you Marty for having Honor and Integrity.

Addition – Bertuci’s management reached out to me and apologized and said they took care of the problem. They also gave me a gift card. I feel like one bad apple shouldn’t spoil our impression given everyone else was quite welcoming.
