It was our first time eating Persian food. The food was flavorful and filling. I had the special, pistachio chicken really yummy. I also enjoyed the cucumber yogurt salad. The staff was very nice and friendly. The owner was so charming and accommodating. The restaurant is also byob. We had a lovely time and would return.

Our server was incredibly amiable. He offered suggestions and gave explanations of dishes we were unfamiliar with. He checked on us frequently, kept our waters topped, and cleared dishes as we finished with them. The food is amazing! We split a vegetarian entrée and three appetizers. Each was unique to our palete but delicious all the same. Finished the meal with a saffron ice cream: perfection. We live an hour away. But I can say with confidence we will be back.

Wow the best. I’ve had some great experiences but this blows the doors off. Amazing people and food is of something I’ve never tasted before my tastebuds are exploding with excitement. I am writing this as I eat so u can understand all the food emotions I’m going through. My friend and I got 2 different plates so we could share and I got to tell you both are of equal excitement. Not only is it flavorful but also filling and for the price u can’t beat it. Just the other day I gave $7 for 2 chicken tenders that didn’t fill me up. But here wow for $7-$8 not only was it filling but amazing also very clean

I have been going to this restaurant for 25 years. I know the owner whose mother was the original chef. Her recipes were superb. The specialties have held up extremely well over the years. Items such as Mushroom Zaban, Chicken with Pistachios, and Duck Fesenjune are remarkable. The Zaban features unbelievably tasty beef tongue with huge chunks of portobello floating in a sauce so good that when I first sit down, i can’t resist dipping some pita in the sauce before I even use my fork! The duck is also tender but its sauce, flavored with plum is delectable. Many other dishes stand out but the three above are my favorites. This is perhaps the elder statesman of Persian restaurants in Baltimore. If you have a yen for something different and wildly delicious, this should be your next dinner out. Bon apetite!
