Staff were very friendly and the place has a good vibe. Food was alright, and the salad bar was quite good. Back to the food- this is a chain, and my Mac With Chicken was rather small and neither the chicken or the Mac tased very good. I’d recommend this place to a family with kids looking for a casual meal, but not for fancy occasions. Alright, but I wouldn’t go back on my own.

We eat lunch at Topsham Ruby’s several times a week, and always have a great meal with outstanding service. Burgers cooked just as i like them, and the best fries anywhere! Best servers too: Chrystal, Gretchen, Dean, Corrine, and Dee.

My wife and I stopped by for early dinner. We were greeted very warmly with a smile and seated promptly. Our server Jennifer was very pleasant and gave us plenty of time to look over the drink menu. We did not feel rushed at any time. Our food came out in a timely manner and was piping hot. I had the fried shrimp platter and my wife had the bourbon salmon meal. Both dishes were cooked perfectly. My shrimp were butterflied and lightly battered, very tender and juicy. My wife’s salmon was cooked just right. My wife had the Ruby Relaxer drink, which she said was delicious. The prices are very reasonable here and generous portions. Date of visit was 1/3/19

When I first walked in, the hostess was right there smiling back at me. Which was a great start to the night. Our server was very sweet and knowledgeable, and interactived with my kids like they were her own. We passed on the salad bar but as we walked by, it was very inviting. Our food came out exactly like we ordered it. I was told before I ordered my steak that Roy was one of the best and I wouldn’t be disappointed. Not only was it a great dinner but I felt like it was family serving me. I will be back and I plan on telling my friends and family about this experience.

Portion size was definitely lacking. However, the staff was good and the food was good. I ordered a burger that I wanted no pink, but it came with plenty of pink, LOL! I did not want to be rude, so I tried just eating it. I got one third through the burger and just could not do it. My waitress did not give me a hard time at all, and just got me a no pink burger! I am a bit stingy with 5 Star reviews. If the portion sizes were bigger and the atmosphere was better, then this restaurant would have made five stars!

Trust me I’m being generous with 3 stars. It started good, seated quickly and got our water quickly. From there it went downhill. . . . It was quite some time before our server returned to take our order and then another long time before we got it. But I think the most annoying part was when we asked for the checks it was more than 10 minutes before he came back with them. The food wasn’t good and neither was the service.

As a regular customer I have seen a decline over the past six months. The past several times they are always out of something.(mostly baked potatoes.) Last time it was several items. The service is usually good as far as the wait staff is concerned. I noticed that the tables were not very clean though, and bathroom was gross. Convenience and the salad bar kept us going back. Hoping this time there will be an improvement. Last time was the last time. I feel bad for the servers when they have to explain all the items they kitchen is out of.
