My hubby and I dined there last night. The staff was obviously overwhelmed which is sad to see but out of their control. We started with chips and queso which was underwhelming. Chips were hard to chew and queso dip although it is a well made cheese sauce lacked flavor. The highlight for me was my entree of Carne Asada with patatas bravas and brussels sprouts. The cheesy polenta was also a miss for us.

Wow! This place is flavorful. My wife and I ate here for our anniversary. The staff was amazing. Everything we at was cooked to perfection. Chef knows what they are doing back there. High-quality food with amazing flavor. Be prepared you will clean your plate. This is the best sitdown restaurant in Parkland that I have eaten at. The beef was nice and fluffy, and I could cut it with the side of my fork!!!! Picklefries and the shrimp are also amazing from the appetizer menu.

Flavor profiles are point here. Prices and portions don’t match up. The carne asada was rubbery and over cooked and for 20 bucks a plate, it’s not as though it’s better than most Mexican restaurants who will serve more food that isn’t overcooked. The fries and dudes were overcooked as well. The table leg were were seated at seemed like it was going to give/wobbly. I’ll say that the polenta was great even though it was dried out. Not as good as the polenta at Primo’s in Tacoma, but it is a second or third for best from what I’ve had around the area. The cheese sauce for the chips was broken and you could taste the separation. Again, for these prices, this stuff matters. Environment felt like a Chip and Joanna Gaines house remodel. It looked good though. I think the highest dollar item was around 30 dollars for a meal. Burger runs 14. So it is current with the times, but it’s still a little hard to recommend with their prices other than I am confident they’ll nail the flavor profiles even with an off day like when I showed up. Chicken strips for the kids were decent enough and didn’t seem cheap. I’ll definitely give it another try.

This is a great restaurant, but I would highly recommend dining in vs ordering for take out. The meats were done to perfection, but some side orders were skimpy on servings when it came to the side of rice & side of beans ordered, and they forgot the chips for the nachos. They forgot to say that the nachos come deconstructed when ordered for take out, so when we saw the extra containers of fixings but no chips we were a little confused. After returning to the restaurant to explain the situation (was unable to call ahead because the phone line was busy the whole time I tried calling from home), they were kind enough to replace the nacho order with a fresh one.

A great off the radar spot for South American fare. Great flavors. Burgers are awesome and the fries and aoli are a perfect complement. Pork chop special was great. Appetizer prices are a little steep, but the entrees were reasonablly priced. Drinks were decently portioned.

Unassuming venue with excellent service. The elotes and Peruvian chicken were the best of what we ordered. Got the meat plate with chicken, sausage, steak, and pork, plus the elotes (limited special), the masa-coated calamari (interesting and tasty take), some pico de gallo, and two of the Pacific Ave Sunset cocktails. Skip the pico de gallo, it was meh, but an overall great experience.

Food was great, service is amazing and as nice as everyone says in other reviews. The blackened sea bass special was some of the best blackened fish I’ve ever had. The carne asada was cooked perfectly. Need to go back and try the sandwiches now!

Absolutely AMAZING experience. Everything about this restaurant is 5 stars. Our waiter Kaleo was attentive to our table, knowledgeable about the menu, and very friendly. The cocktails were to die for. My mom, myself, and my husband all loved our entrees. The grilled street corn was delicious as well as the fried avocados. Highly recommend this restaurant! Also, very affordable considering the quality of the food. We will definitely be returning! Chatted with the chef on the way out- Chef D is great!

They had a sign that they were under staffed, and yet, the experience was awesome. The service was still quick, food came out at a very reasonable time for their staffing.
