Bistro Lunch Service and Take Out
Lunch service is a Bistro atmosphere. Our menu features Chef Herb’s signature soups, salads a variety of torta-style sandwiches, a different Hot Plate Special each day and a selection of signature sweets, for dining in or take out. For immediate downtown businesses, we offer free delivery for orders of 3 or more, (WiFi service for patrons)
Business Lunch Delivery Service
A minimum of 3 orders per location required (Service Area); Ash St. to Spruce St. and George St. to Williams St. Goldsboro, NC
Fine Dining Dinner Service
Dinner service is a relaxed, low-light, fine dining experience with occasional musical artist performing. Dinner includes an appetizer and a pumpernickel loaf our menu includes a variety of Chef Herb’s international cuisine. Our vegetarian customers will always have an entree available.

Chef Herb’s Bistro and Restaurant is closed every Saturday morning, all day Sunday, and on Monday evenings. We have reserved these times for anyone wishing to book a private event with us. We will offer our full service dining experience for you and your guest with a menu tailored to your request and budget. Maximum seating per event is 49 guest

My wife and I had a very enjoyable evening. The atmosphere is cozy and the food exceptional. We started off with the Caribbean Shrimp Rolls which were perfect size for the two of us and really were a hit for the flavors. We then shared entrees Shrimp & Grits and the Walnut Crusted Flounder stuffed with Shrimp. Yes…we both love shrimp, and these selections were wonderful. We ended the meal with Key Lime Cheese Cake and Baklava (which came with a scoop of Ice-cream). Both are made in-house and perfect!. Presentation on everything was pleasing to the eye, and the service was excellent…nothing lacking at all. I highly recommend checking this out if you haven’t been and returning often. We’ll be back soon!

Chef Herb was so incredibly accommodating for our wedding night dinner. He allowed us to customize the menu with only a couple weeks’ notice, let us have the cake delivered to the restaurant the day prior and made the entire night elegant. Of course, on top of that, the food was delicious and the price for what we got was unbeatable. Chef Herb met with us one-on-one to prepare for the night and catered to us and our guests during the night. Additionally, his staff was fast, courteous, professional and warm. Thank you Herb for making our wedding night delicious and memorable. We will definitely be back again.
