I work at the Augusta Mall and Charlie’s has been my favorite place to eat since they opened there. The food is great but lately the service has been horrible. It is so slow. Today when I went, there was one girl up front, one guy cooking and at least one girl in back. I know this because she stuck her head out and looked at the line then went back into the back. There was one person waiting for her food. One person in front of me and several behind me. If took over 5 minutes for me to even place my order. Then over 15 minutes for me to get my order. The lady who was in front of me was still waiting on her order. Her little girl was complaining that she was hungry. I only had 30 minutes for lunch. By the time I got back with my meal, I had less then 10 minutes to eat and didn’t have time to eat it all. It’s really ridiculous. The service there used to be good, but not anymore. Something should be done or they are really going to loose business.

the food is great. the cheese steak could use more cheese but I love the flavor of the meat they use and the subs are packed full this is my go to every time I’m in the mall only issue I had with the service is that the young man that was running the register had more interest in watching everyone walking around than he had in the customer in front of him

Ordered an Italian philly sub extra provolone with fries yesterday 8/2. Let me just say it was really good. I ordered around opening, 11am. I asked that my fries be cooked fresh, it was; and the two on duty at the time was very attentive as I watched them prepare my order. Thanks Charleys, I will be coming back when I’m in the mood for an Italian sub. Hats off to the two on duty when I ordered.

Daughter went up to order some cheese fries and was told they weren’t taking any additional orders for 20 minutes. I was able to place the order online at least which allowed the extra star. The fries were just OK and looked disappointing. I’ve gotten the sandwiches as well from here before and they’re normally dry and lack the flavor you’d expect from a Philly cheese steak. Its mall food, but there are better choices still in the food court.

The staff is slow not friendly. I was in-line 15 minutes just for them to take my order. They didn’t have that many customers. It was 4 employees working there, only two of them were actually doing something. I could see the wait been long if they had whole lot of customers. The staff looked like they didn’t want to be there.

The other day I ordered a Philly and fries. Got my order and they had replaced the fries for chips!! When asked about it, they claim they were out of fries!! So why didn’t you just say that when I came to pick up my order and allow ME to decide if I want a replacement or refund for the unavailable item. There were a few people getting a refund for the same issue.

Food is ok, customer service the worst. And I was dealing with the Owner of the franchise Osmond Paschal. He shouldn’t be in charge of anything or anyone, his own employees looked at him like he was crazy. Yelling at customes from across the food court. Who dose that? Order not only was cold, but they forgot two of our three fries and drinks…so paid $70 for 3 sandwiches and a drink….called the manager said they refused to refund money or do anything to right their wrong…don’t waste your money.
