The service was great and the food was delicious. Don’t recommend bringing kids (big or little) as the food is very fancy italian not your basic spaghetti and such. That being said for adults it is wonderful. I had the Conchiglie Con Granchio for dinner (half serving was perfect portion). I had the Affogato for dessert. Very small dish but delicious nonetheless. Prices were average. Took pics of dessert, but didn’t think to do so until they were almost gone. The first being the Italian Apple Tart, next is the chocolate olive oil cake and last is my Affogato.

The staples of their menu remain and the rotation of fresh, farm-to-table dishes keep us coming back for more. Staff was very friendly and sweet! Food came out quickly and was delicious. I asked for a modification, and since the kitchen wasn’t able to do it, they offered to make me something entirely different to my liking; extremely kind and generous! This is a very lovely place 🙂

First time here, Rose, the owner, and Cody, at the bar, were so friendly and welcoming to us. We sat at the bar and had an absolutely delicious meal. Lamb chops and Spring pea ravioli, grilled octopus with chick peas and roasted red peppers, homemade lemon ricotta mousse cake and coconut rum gelato. Their very talented chef came out to say hello to us.

We have dined here many times. Returned because of great menu, service and atmosphere. Menu this time did not offer much variety. We picked mussels in white wine, crabmeat shell pasta, branzini filet and pasta with meat sauce. Service was first class. It was a bit too hot at the corner we were sitting and artichokes with branzini were though, couldn’t bite them. Mussels were delicious.

We absolutely love the food here. High quality ingredients, creative ideas and great execution. The seasonal salads, the branzino, the chicken, the steak, the sorbet… and the bolognese sauce is soooo good. Missed it so much during the pandemic. Hope that they will always be in business.

What a wonderful meal! Right on the main drag in downtown New Paltz. Set in a gorgeous old rustic building, A Tavola would be right at home in Manhattan. The service was impeccable and the food divine. I started with a peach cocktail as I perused the menu. Warm fresh baked bread arrived at my table in the meantime. I chose the beet salad to start (delicious!) and the pumpkin gnocchi (pillowy soft!) as my entree.

Had a nice time sitting at the bar. Enjoyed the Salumi with brussels (pictured) and the orecchiette… All delicious. Bartender was nice enough to talk cocktails with us and even let me sample an aloe aperitif I had never seen before.
