Most enjoyable dinner… The appetizers, entrees and desserts were beautifully presented and all very delicious. The sauces had character yet didn’t overwhelm neither the meats nor the veggies, a testament of a good recipe and the proper execution. Welcoming and comfortable ambiance. Knowledgeable, competent and friendly crew. It’s a keeper!

On my way out to Fairfax for lunch with my pal Leg-Iron Pete when I spotted the Insalata’s Deli, and you know what…Leg-Iron can just meet me here. This place looks hipster enough to get a couple of guys like us in trouble for a multitude of reasons. The food sure looked amazing, and the service was top notch even though the two of us stuck out like two bulls in a china shop. We were well behaved and only had to recommend haircuts to two skinnyass guys that had their hair up in buns like women do, they didn’t cry so it was all good.

Limited parking but worth the struggle. We arrived after a long hike and probably were a bit underdressed. However, we were made very comfortable by the staff. I asked for recommendations and was thankfully guided to the pork chop. I have never ordered a pork chop while out for dinner, but this was one of my favorite dishes ever. The wonderful balance between the apricot sauce and the pork chop was outstanding!

We held my son’s wedding rehearsal dinner in the private side room. The event coordinator (Beth) was wonderful to work with, our server (Felix) was super, and everything on the special menu was delicious and beautifully prepared. Our table was beautifully set, jncluding candles. Wine steward Paris was very helpful as well. Our guests were very impressed and we were very pleased with everything!

My wife loves this place and I have to admit it’s pretty good. The food we’ve tried is delicious, and there’re a lot more selections we look forward to trying. When I first got the menu, I didn’t see coffee listed as a beverage, but the have some very delicious coffee and selection of skim, regular, and half-half to add. My hamburger was just right at medium rare and the toppings were so high I could barely get it into my mouth.

Excellent array of fresh produce focused dishes, hefty portions, beautiful interior. A large takeout counter with a host of dishes on display. Service on a Sunday brunch was a little slow despite the place being empty. Mezzo plate was excellent, as was the soup of the day tomato pepper, served either hot or cold. Tempting high end but not too pricey desserts. Will go again when in the area and looking for a healthy, tasty meal.
