Like this cute ancient Hawaiian style house and airy space, right next to the beach so very accessible to beautiful landscape for most of the seats. Food is average for its price but I really like the purple yum bread which is very special. Food portion is a bit small but side is a bit large than expected.

On the Grand Wailea property. Great breakfast food and kind staff. The waffles are the best I’ve had. Be aware it be crowded and slow to get food but worth it.

Humuhumu exudes a positive energy and we loved its atmosphere, especially the sunset view. Upon entering, there is a bar area, but as you explore further, you’ll find more spaces. We ordered the pineapple fried rice and pork ribs. Unfortunately, the pork ribs were dry, indicating that the meat quality may have been subpar. However, the sauce was flavorful and saved the dish. To prevent the meat from being too dry, we had to smother it with the sauce. On the other hand, the desserts were fantastic, especially the tropical vacherine. We were pleasantly surprised each time we ordered it. Despite the disappointing pork ribs, the reasonable pricing for a hotel restaurant and the amazing vibe of the place make us want to come back again.

Everyone is so nice there! They are amazing at checking up on how you and your food is. Staff is truly amazing and kind!! Food is delicious! I had the diver scallops and rack of lamb and definitely recommend!! Lamb is so tender and great flavor! Scallops melt in your mouth with a fantastic sauce to go with it! This restaurant is 10/10 and everyone there truly cares! Thank you Humuhumu for this fabulous experience!!

Excellent meal at the Humu – again! Our family including our adult kids really enjoyed the good mix of appetizers and entrees cocktails and wine. Fabulous bread also. A must try in Maui.

Do you want gorgeous surroundings and a beautiful view? We were here at sunset and it was gorgeous. The sunset alone was worth a fair portion of the cost.

Pretty restaurant in the Waldorf. They have desserts available at night. We tried the lava cake (flavor was good but it came out room temperature, so it definitely wasn’t fresh). Their ice cream is fine but $12 for a small scoop of ice cream you can find in a grocery store. The creme brulee was nice but a little sweet.

Food was okay nothing stand out except maybe the kenpachi. The sashimi was not super fresh tasting it had a frozen quality to it. The cucumber mocktail I got was not good at all. The rack of lamb was good but the yuzu accoutrement was way too sweet and did not complement the dish at all. The lobster Mac and cheese was good as well. Over all an okay experience the restaurant is insanely hard to get to and the entrance to the hotel is confusing. You do have to pay for valet which is $10 and is not comped by the restaurant. Over all an over expensive meal that was just okay nothing to write home about. The staff was excellent and the actual restaurant is beautiful but it is very dark inside.
