Went Saturday at lunchtime and it wasn’t very busy. We were 2 couples, each with one child, and we were well-attended to. My wife and I split a sandwich which was brought to us on 2 plates and we didn’t even have to ask; very helpful. The chicken parm sandwich was excellent and their fries were also delicious. They were also very accommodating for a few custom sides for my son. Overall a very nice experience.

First time visit, we ordered takeout. The calamari was fried as we waited– delish!! Spanikopita was crisp and hot. Greek pizza was so good, great flavors, good crust…the only improvement could be that at the center of the pie, the crust was soggy, and we ate it 5 minutes after pickup. The bread pudding a la mode…yum! We just moved in nearby and will definitely be back!

1st half of our experience was lacking. The server admitted to being new on the job and said to us “We will get through this together”. Not a good start. It took a while to get our order in and about 20 minutes to get our food after ordering it. We had to ask for the complimentary bread and got that after receiving the food. The food was pretty good and on par with Olive garden, so nothing to write home about. The ambiance is nothing special as it is in an older strip mall near the VA hospital. The server was nice but the slow service was a downer. Around $40 for 2 entrees and 2 sodas.

We were there at 11:30 when Pomodoros opened for the day. Often, restaurants need some time to get things ready for the day. But Pomodoros was absolutely ready, and the food was delicious. Wife had spanakopita salad. I enjoyed lamb gyro and they were both excellent. The waitress was attentive without being intrusive. The overall experience was perfectly enjoyable and we will definitely be going back.

After being seated Lilly was our server. Drinks came out quickly along with fresh baked hot bread and a small dish with herbs and olive oil for dipping . My wife and friend ordered manicotti and I had scallopes with penne pasta with a gorgonzola cream sauce. I paired the meal with a small Caesar salad. Everything was delicious and more than we could finish. We have leftovers for a second meal easily. The bill was $ 68 and some change without the tip.

Manicotti is wonderful!! So good. Wife got ravioli and it was also excellent. The only thing I didn’t like was the weed-like lettuce in my Greek salad. But I’m old school…
