We make a yearly pilgrimage to New Orleans that mostly centers around where we are going to eat and this one has been on my list for a long time and somehow we never get to it. Finally made it here last night and I understand the hype. Everything was ordered was so interesting and flavorful. Our waiter even convinced us to try the pigs knuckles which were surprisingly tasty! (if I didn’t think to hard about what they are) Love the low key, friendly vibe. The table next to us was insanely loud which made it hard to hear but that’s not really the restaurant’s fault. Will definitely be back to try more things!

Some of the tastiest food I’ve had. This place is a must visit in NOLA.

Best food stop on this trip. Pork shoulder, crab salad, fried catfish, coal mushrooms, cornbread, shrimp, strawberry cake – split between four people with some apps. Pork shoulder was the favorite and the portion was enough to feed 4.

A quaint little place that can be mistaken for a home if not for the signboards. This is a Southeast Asian fusion restaurant.

A fun and exciting blend of flavors! The cornbread- GET IT! It’s some of the best I’ve had- it’s light, not too salty, kinda sweet bc of the sauce drizzled on top and it seems like it was pan fried in a heavenly amount of butter.

Everything about our experience at Marjie’s was fabulous. The setting on the back patio is so cute and cozy. The vibe is totally friendly and laid back. But, of course, most importantly, the food was fantastic. We got the family meal style dinner for a group of 8, where we did not need to order, they just brought out amazing dish after amazing dish (all of the best on the menu) with plenty for all of us to share. It was a great option. The drinks were great, the service was super sweet and attentive. We had an excellent evening. Thank you, Marjie’s Grill!!

One of the best meals I’ve ever had! I recommend you let them feed you special if you’re with a group you’ll get served several items from the menu and maximize the experience. Lovely dedicated and particular alcohol menu with plenty of after dinner drinks.

Service and atmosphere were both unpleasant. This I could overlook if the food was good, but my food was inedible. I ordered a whole blue runner fish and I was excited to try it since I had never had this type of fish before. All I can say was that it looked and smelled old and had the most foul taste. The flesh was dark and meaty and the skin was super rubbery and thick. I tasted it as I am an adventurous eater and almost had to spit it out. It ruined the whole meal.

Definitely an experience with a very cool, eclectic vibe and great food! Pork knuckles, BBQ Pork Shoulder with Thai dipping sauce, Beef Belly, broccoli and the cornbread were all showstoppers.

LOVED!!! went for my friend’s birthday & Marjie’s didn’t disappoint. We were able to try quite a few things on the menu & ate it family style which was nice! We loved the cornbread & ordered it a few times throughout the dinner to share with the table (it’s like a decent slice of a pie size). We also got the crab & peaches & bbq pork shoulder. both good, but i loved the crab & peaches!
