The place itself is very cute. The decor very nice. The food was ok. The rolls were not filled like other places I have been to. The two front garage doors were open I suppose for fresh air however it was 90 degrees outside didn’t make for a pleasant eating experience there was no breeze of any kind and warm inside. Then they closed the doors and said the AC was on max. I don’t believe that to be true because we were all really hot. We would have and wanted to order more drinks and food but it was unbearable. They were also having a staff meeting while we were there so that was kind of inconsiderate since we were being rushed. Prob will not return for food. Perhaps a drink at the bar.

I went for the first time this past Monday, and while I was expecting it to be good based on some words from friends, I wasn’t expecting it to be be THIS good. I chose to sit at the bar and I ordered a small appetizer of wings based on recommendation from the bartender, Maya, and was pleasantly surprised with the Japanese take. The sauce was perfectly sweet and complimented the crunch very nicely.

Great new addition in the heart of RVC. We had an 8:30 dinner reservation and we did not have to wait. They had a table for us ready inside; although the ambiance was super cute, the music was a little too loud for our liking to have a nice conversation so we requested to sit outside and they happily accommodated.

I recently celebrated my 50th Birthday Dinner there and Not only are Chris & his staff VERY Friendly and Genuine but also SUPER accommodating to all my guests. I went to this restaurant because it received great reviews, but the only thing that was correct was the decor is absolutely adorable. The food was not great , it was so salty. I ordered the Lobster tempura which was ok, but for $40 for a “ shareable” appetizer it should’ve had a few more pieces of lobster. I also ordered The brick teriyaki chicken, I wanted to return the food based on the presentation alone, but I gave it a try. The chicken was doused in teriyaki sauce , as if it was poured directly on the chicken. The chicken skin was flabby and not rendered down for a brick chicken. Everything on the plate was way to salty. The drink menu yet small, left nothing to be desired. I ordered 3 drinks and didn’t care for any. The restaurant did comp us for the drinks which was nice , but they really need to work on the drink and entree menu. Also prices should really be notated on the menu for the entrees
