Rooted in the Japanese ‘Washoku’ style (和食), Washoku is simultaneously both simple yet complicated, plain yet sophisticated. It is salty, sweet, sour, slightly bitter and full of umami flavors, and equal emphasis is placed on beautiful presentation. Bloofin’s menus draw on the seasons, the abundance of local freshest seafood and ingredients. We pride ourselves on our charming and boutique setting, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere for those wishing to indulge in our culinary delights. It took quite the crew to bring this concept to you and we hope you enjoy your experience with us.

They have the best edamame around the area. I like all their sushi favorite (Angus beef ) today I tried sky diver and was delicious. Literally everything is good.

Update: went back again and ordered off the menu this time and food was delicious! We got the chef choice sashimi, the salmon and fatty tuna were so tender and melted in our mouths. Bloofin-viche was well flavored and had real Thai chili peppers, so there was a nice kick. Also ordered the bloofin special Maki and red moon roll, both were delicious! Would definitely go back and try their other rolls, but wouldn’t recommend the karami based on our previous experience.

The food was absolutely amazing! One of the best sushi restaurants we’ve been to. The best thing was the fois gras charanmushi… That was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. We also had the Toro Special… Beautifully balanced and fresh. We also had the the Sashimi B plate and the Chirashi. Clean, fresh, bright sashimi. And the Tuna Sashimi with Goat Cheese… Absolutely delicious and surprising in it’s unusual but balanced flavors. I had the Siryana (?) Swan cocktail… Very well crafted and smoky.. So good.

Best in the area by far. I come here from the Woodlands because it’s better than everything I’ve found in that area. Always fresh. Expansive menu. Good service. Only downsize is parking as it is in a shopping center corner. No where to park if it is busy.

This was the best Sushi I’ve had in Spring/Houston! I enjoyed talking to Chefs as I seated at the counter. All the Sashimi was so fresh and its presentation was so beautiful. I’m from Japan so that I know this restaurant meets our high expectations! I had my Matcha tea served with Iron cup and pot. Even the ginger tasted better. Having such a knowledgeable server like Brian made our lunch more enjoyable and better. Thank you so much! We will come back for sure!

Probably one of the better sushi places in the woodlands/conroe area. You wouldn’t expect such good sushi in such a random suburb of Houston but it was fresh and high quality! Will definitely be coming back.

Highly recommend this restaurant. I’ve been twice with my cousin and each time has been amazing. The food, drinks, and service are always on point. We ordered a bottle of wine for the table (13 Celsius Sauvignon Blanc with hints of lychee and citrus paired perfectly with the dishes) and I had a lemon drink (forgot the name as it’s not on the menu but it’s lemon and vodka, 1000/1000).

Probably my favorite sushi place in all of the Houston area. If you want a place that has seasonal fish, a weekly daily menu of unusual offerings, and or a chance for a phenomenal omakase this is your place. Chirashi is great. I also highly recommend the rainbow spider roll and the Red Moon roll. It isn’t the cheapest around, but with sushi more often than not you get what you pay for.

Brian, our waiter, recommended our dishes for us. Everyone of them delivers flavor that satisfy the taste buds. Whisky latte put a wonderful finish note to our meal.

I’ve been here multiple times and it’s been great each time! I’ve gone as a date night and also as a big group and everything always comes out great and service is always friendly and prompt. This last time, we started with the spicy edamame and it was perfect! For drinks my boyfriend had the lycheetini and I went with the agave raindrop. We both loved our drinks and mine had crushed ice in it which was different but wonderful. My boyfriend got the dragon roll while I got the red moon roll. Both the rolls were fantastic, as always. I definitely recommend this place and I think it’s some of the best sushi around.
