I’ve been going here for years, and the food is almost always very good. However, their prices have skyrocketed in the past year or two. I used to think they were a great value and would go often; from now on, however, I’ll probably only go on rare occasions if I feel like splurging or if someone else is paying. There are other good sub/sandwich/burger places in the area that offer a better value IMO.

This was a case of a bad experience turned into one that tried to make up for the bad experience. I can’t say I am completely pleased, but the efforts taken by the young woman at the counter to make things right was appreciated. Much appreciated. It doesn’t take away the bad experience as it still happened, but her efforts are genuinely thoughtful and good customer service.

I’ve ordered from Mac’s in Fairport many times and it has always been great, but not so much tonight. Ordered on GrubHub for pickup at 645pm on a Sunday night. Food wasn’t ready till 730pm (despite the GrubHub app saying that it was “ready for pickup” at 705pm). Yet, it was not busy at all (only saw 1 delivery and 3 other customers) and they had at least 3 cooks plus 1 counter girl. The cheeseburger deluxe wrap was falling apart and poorly wrapped, and had no onions (despite them being a standard item for the wrap). Despite the lack of onions, it was still good. The turkey club wrap was wrapped better, but not cut in half. No big deal, but come on… The fries were obviously old and not warm when I got them, and cold when I got home. I’ll continue to order from and support this spot, but I feel like MGMT needs to know what’s going on. Counter girl was very nice and apologetic. Raise your prices if needed and hire better cooking staff. This is coming from a long time restaurant vet. Thanks

Normally this place is amazing me and my bf love their subs. Usually we go to the one in the city but they’re closed on Sundays so we make the hour drive to this location. Last weekend we ordered I got a fat Mac with slaw instead of Mac and he got a steak sub with mayo horseradish and cheese. Both subs were absolutely disgusting the meat was so greasy and the fat Mac wasn’t made right the toppings were on the bottom and there was barley any. It may sound picky but when it’s made how it should be with the toppings on top it soaks into the steak. Both subs had a ridiculous amount of steak it was disgusting to bite into. I had to pick half of the meat off my sub to even eat it and my bf couldn’t even eat his. I called on Sunday and the girl who answered didn’t even apologize just said I’ll have a manager call you. Next day I call back still no manager at least this time the girl was actually professional and apologized. It is now FRIDAY and I still have yet to speak to a manager. I called today and they said the “manager was too busy” and promised they would call me back which they didn’t. They had nothing but excuses to offer that sundays are busy that they have new cooks that sometimes it’s so busy they can’t properly clean the grill even though my boyfriend always says to make sure they drain the meat really good. I myself work in food service as a manager and it is DISGUSTING the customer service I have gotten from this location. I am so disappointed because I really do love their food normally and I really just wanted our food remade. We come here almost every week sometimes 2 times if the city location is closed. I am at loss for words how unprofessional this situation was handled the manager should be making time to handle customer complaints. Customers come first! It shouldn’t take almost a week for a manager to call me I shouldn’t have to call 3 times to get a manager to call me! And each time I was told they would personally tell the manager so clearly the manager just dosent care about customer service. Completely unacceptable service and food especially for driving a hour out of our way.

I was just driving around and happened to drive past this place around. Maybe the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had!Roll overflowing with meat and flavor. I ordered a large and ate half. Great portion sizes. Also the fries are incredible!! 100% will be back to try the garbage plates! You won’t regret earning here.

A good but not great cheesesteak. Thought the onions and peppers were cut large but the mushrooms look tiny and either canned or not really fresh.. the roll was the highlight and the cheese and pizza sauce gave good flavor.

Second time going there for dinner and second time our dinner was messed up. Reciept was right but cook can’t read. Use to go many times for lunch seeing I work close by , but not anymore . Time to find a new place . For the money spent , should of got the order right . Live 30 minutes away so taking it back wasn’t an option
