I’d give this place another try based on my friends food as I think it was my entree to be honest that was off on this night. Service and drinks and two friends food was very good. I had bites of theirs and they said it was delicious. However I ordered a $42 steak and it had a lot of fat on it. I can understand some but it threw off the meal and also was a bit bland on the taste/seasoning. It was cooked perfectly. I’d definitely go back but not get the steak.

Most of the reviews here are good, mine is not. Well appointed inside, staff seemed nice bar looks nice. There are no sound baffles or other types of sound mitigation, so the main dining room is extremely noisy. Reggae music blasting into the main dining room so loud it was hard to hold a conversation between the overall din and the music (and I like reggae). Six of us out for dinner, and it took nearly and hour and twenty minutes for our dinners to come. There were people that came in, after us, ordered, at and left before we were served. They said the wait was due to cooking the pork chops well, but these are a regular menu item and if it talks an hour and a half too cook a chop…well…not sure they know what they are doing…they could have al least warned us, nut mo. Wings were OK, my Ceasar salad was soggy, limp and brown. Waitress did not clear the table of used dishes (they just piled up), and never offered a refill on the iced(I had to ask 3x). The waitress with the water was great…never ran out of water. Overall, most of only ate half our meal.…the food was middling at best food, and the waitress kept asking is “did you like it” – odd, quite odd since most of the plates went back half full, she should have been able to figure that out herself. Prices are way out of range for the quality and type of food. Could have gone over to the Tavern, and an excellent meal in 1/5th of the time, 2x the quality at ½ of the price. You can be sure I won’t go back to the Family Table again.

We had reservations for 5:30 & seated at 5:30. We didn’t get our over priced meal until 6:45 or so. Food wasn’t that great for the price we paid of $235.00 for 7 us with NO alcohol just water. I will not go back. It’s not worth it.

We were so happy to see Family Table had reopened for our yearly Smuggs trip. All of the servers were wonderful and the food is amazing . We had the lobster tiger rolls and chicken and waffles appetizer. The chicken and waffles were the best I’ve ever had…juicy chicken but not greasy at all with housemate waffles and hot honey sauce. The entrees were all on point! Highly recommend the friendly relaxing atmosphere and can’t miss food !

The lamb burger was cooked to perfection, the sauces and toppings were placed intelligently and were all delicious. The root beer was really great, the creme brulee desert was well made. Really one of the few higher dining experiences available in the communities and the prices were very reasonable. I’ll be going back for sure.
