A long day on the road in a truck sometimes leaves you stuck trying to find a good place to eat. Luckily I pulled in as they were closing, they saw my truck and opened the doors for me to order my food and offered to let me eat in, the customer service was above par for the modern restaurant, the food is fresh and fast. I’ll definitely keep coming back to this location when I’m in the area, TY all for the service!

I only gave 2 stars because I have seen better service from this location. However, I was asked to pull to the “backdoor” to get my food when there was no one else in line behind me. Then the food they brought put was so over cooked and hard that it wasn’t enjoyable at all to eat. It cost nearly $30 for 2 meals that were complete garbage. Being asked to pull to a door in the back of the building with inadequate lighting was sketchy at best too. Oh, and now they cook your food to order so the wait is lengthy as well. Now I understand why it’s the last ljs in my entire area…

As a seafood lover, I was so incredibly disappointed with this one. I had never eaten here prior despite having lived here most of my life, but heard from a few other seafood lovers that although the price is above average, it’s pretty good. I ordered a basket of fish and some type of fried lobster or crab bites they were advertising for at the time. The food itself all had one similar fish taste, but the main thing i tasted was fried batter and barely anything else. The bites were dry, and the fish had little to no fish meat! I was actually shocked when they handed me PACKETS of Tartar sauce, not even a LJS brand either. You’re a seafood restaurant that touts yourself as more than the typical fast food place, and you don’t even bother to make your own Tartar sauce?? Even I make my own tartar sauce at home, it’s easy. I want to add that by no means do I have a “refined” pallet or expect the best of the best, but this location’s food was absolutely terrible.

Food was good the 2nd time around and if was correct the 2nd time as well. Although even after saying over the phone several times and again in the store that yes I understood there would be 56 hushpuppies 2 additional times, it was actually a bit aggravating to be asked so many times after remaking the entire order for a 2nd time bc the 1st time I didn’t get the hushpuppies. The staff was otherwise helpful and pretty fast considering the drive thru was full when I came in for the 2nd time few ppl were in the dinning room but my orde r was not simple nor was it small. I was happy to get the remake without having to go thru a bunch of crao just had to show my proff of purchase with my banking app!

Service was horrible. We waited in drive through for over 5 minutes and no one came to the intercom to say “please hold” or “we’d be right with you.” Instead we had to drive up to the window and ask the senior citizen lady with the mustache if they were open? She said yes. My wife and I asked why didn’t any one say anything? IS your headset working? She said yes. We asked what happened? She said “I was busy and preoccupied ” . Were you so busy to say hold on? She didnt say anything. We asked aahin…why didn’t you say anything. She says “we were busy.” She didn’t even say “hold on a moment. And she was rude about it and then said well I can take your order now if you want? .. really lady? Never again.

Came in for dinner. Order and payment completed. Round the corner to fill my cup with iced tea and there is none. “Oh, no, we ran out earlier.” Nothing else I can drink and I’ve paid for one. “You don’t drink lemonade?” No, I’m diabetic.” End of discussion. No offer of a refund for the drink I didn’t get. Full greasy meal with no drink. Praying I don’t choke – not an uncommon experience. I won’t be coming back.

Ate here and it was absolutely disgusting fries and chicken were burnt yet soggy thank god I got a 3 piece shrimp or I wouldn’t of ate anything. Couldn’t send it back because it was doordashed. Definitely won’t make that mistake again.
