This restaurant is tucked away on the 14th floor of the Ganesvoort Hotel. It comes with epic views & a small & intimate atmosphere. If you can sit at the sushi bar, it’s a treat. The 12 course option is one of my favorites and it does vary based on what is fresh & the creativity of the sushi chef. The cocktail list is curated to match the fair, highlighting sakes & Japanese gins. Certainly a fun experience!

Great sushi! Non alcohol options for drinks are limited (just regular sodas), but the sake and beer are nice, although these are served in a wine glass (with a half liter can of beer warming up next to it). If they get the drinks in order it would be amazing, now just the food is really nice.

Omakase at a premium: you can certainly get just as solid quality for cheaper in NYC, but come for the good company and wonderful views. The sushi chefs are quite creative and so so so friendly, and made the entire experience worthwhile. Really intimate spot, and perfect for a date night.

The food was good, but the water was leaking from the roof onto my head, and the floors were soaked from the rain. I informed my host, Gary, about the leak as well to ensure no one would slip. Very disappointing, considering I had my eight-month-old son with us, and there was water dripping from the ceilings. I attached a photo of the receipt to verify the visit as well as the image of the water leaking in from the walls (unfortunately, I couldn’t snag a picture of the water dripping on my head, but I believe it came from where the wood was screwed into the top of the ceiling). It’s hard to tell how wet it was, but the rug was slippery. Very disappointing that the restaurant is not being adequately maintained.

Great Omakase experience!! Food and views were amazing. We had servers around always to make sure our water and drinks were full. Jorge (sorry if spelled incorrectly) was a kind and knowledgable chef, everything he prepared was delicious, would definitely come back again!

Our visit to this Japanese restaurant offered a pleasant evening out. Set high above the city, the view was truly a nice treat. We timed our arrival to be about half an hour before sunset and got to witness the day transition into night, a sight that added a unique charm to our dining experience.

I got the 15 course meal. Overall it was great meal. The raspberry panna cotta was amazing, it had the perfect balance of sweetness to finish off the meal. If you ever great a chance to get a table, I recommend the raspberry panna cotta.
