This was the BEST Iranian/ Persian food I have ever had! We are so glad we came here. The service was amazing. Eman was the kindest, most attentive server and he made sure we had everything we needed and more. The food is the star here. The Tehran platter eat a mixed grill with rice and salad. Huge potions, JUICY meat and the freshest most delicious yogurt dips! The have different versions and they are all delicious! We finished our meal off with some hot tea. MUST TRY!

Great casual Persian food. The steak and chicken are super tender and flavor packed. The tahdig is perfectly crispy. The staff is very attentive and prepares the food quickly. Highly recommend the ash reshteh!

Excellent Persian food, the ground chicken kebab, the eggplant dip and saffron rice all amazing. The ground beef not so great but the chicken kebabs were excellent. Price is high for a counter serve place, but the portions very big, one standard entrée feeds two people

Overall great tasting authentic Iranian food, the beef Kabob was very good along with saffron rice. Menu items are slightly pricey, with no options to customize addon certain sample of appetizers. The house yogurt drink was very good.

There is sadly no customer service here. None. I notice they especially seem to resent fellow Persian patrons, and are kinder to non-Persians and those who have a certain look. The staff are very judgey and catty. The people at the front desk giving you your to-go order have no manners. They clearly aren’t happy to be at work and they make sure they project that bitterness onto you. The owner should take a moment away from posting about being on briefly featured on Bravo 15 years ago, and more on investing into the hospitality of her establishment. Create an atmosphere that is warm and welcoming. It starts with your staff. As it stands, they fall short for a place that is the most expensive Persian eatery in perhaps the entire city

Second time I’ve had Persian food in my life, and this place made me feel very happy about it. It’s a casual restaurant which mixes traditional Persian food with the LA touch: gluten free, and organic ingredients. I’d repeat it for sure!

I understand how good the food tastes and how people love their special homemade soup. But I will still only give it a two star because the food there gave me food poisoning. I called in 2 days later to try to reflect this problem to the owner, and I left my number there. I didn’t get a callback.
