Amazing experience! We both ordered the 7 course tasting menu. Getting our first dishes was a little slow (very busy) but our server brought us complimentary champagne without us saying anything. High quality food, beautiful presentation and you could tell the staff was proud of their dishes. On my list of best places in Portland – excited to go back again!

We’ve only visited for happy hour having one round of cocktails and a few small plates. The space is nice but the “bar” only has three seats. There are two large outdoor heated seating areas. The cocktails and bread and oysters were all superb. I look forward to coming back for dinner, having as many courses as possible.

To be fair, we only ordered what I’d call appetizers although their menu doesn’t work that way. We got the cheese and the focaccia. The focaccia was sooo delicious but the cheese was just meh and the flavor palette was all over the place…I wouldn’t recommend it. I would’ve tried more but I wasn’t hungry enough for the 7 course option and the 2 other items I wanted had pork and while they said they could make it without it was very clear it wouldn’t taste good.

Food is great. Service was good. Went for a birthday dinner with a friend and we both had the 7 course tasting menu and were prepared for a 300$+ bill because we knew we’d get drinks also. We were there for just over 3 hours, so admittedly it is quite the experience. The mixed drinks were also great…it was a hot day, summer in Portland and they don’t have air conditioning and even that is ok!

The food is worth trying. Spending just under 3 hours to receive 7 courses with loud house music was too exhausting though. They need to improve their speed.

Highly recommend! Fresh, high quality and incredible flavor in every dish. In speaking with the staff, they get all their ingredients locally at the farmers market so the menu often changes.

We try many of the great pdx restaurants nearly once per month for years. Quaintrelle has some of the most attentive service, top tier bar wine list and crazy crazy good food. Top notch, highly recommended!

Where to begin? We found this spot looking for ‘most romantic restaurants in Portland’ – and it delivered. Located in a peaceful, quiet area, the ambiance of the outdoor seating set a welcoming tone. The staff were so warm and personable, expert guides to navigate the fabulously diverse menu. We ordered 4 a la carte options + dessert, which was a perfect amount for two people. This is an excellent date night / anniversary spot – the presentation of each dish is so colorful and creative.

My partner and I cannot sing the praises of the Quaintrelle team enough. We held our elopement dinner here on the beautiful outdoor patio area in late June. From the amazingly delicious tasting menu for 21 people, the impeccable and attentive service, to the wonderful drinks and great wine selection, Quaintrelle impressed us and our guests at every turn. The team effortlessly worked with us within our budget and dietary restrictions to deliver a simply incredible night and a dinner to remember forever.
