We were excited to try out the new steakhouse in Allen now that they have officially opened for business. They have done a beautiful job of redecorating the building and making it feel very classy.

My husband and I had our anniversary dinner here, and it was a great experience! All of the food exceeded our expectations, and our server, Donald C, was amazing and very knowledgeable. We will definitely be back!

We had an enjoyable meal with friends at Andreas’ tonight. Upon arrival, we notice the parking lot was roped off for valet parking only, a peculiar “requirement” feel. We opted to park at the neighboring business lot and walk. We had made a reservation in advance for 6, and we were seated immediately at a comfortable booth with a great atmosphere, however the table was only plated for 5, so the server had to gather extra plates and cutlery. The reservation system allows for allergy notes, and we wrote in our reservation that one of our guests has a gluten allergy. Our server informed us that the French onion soup is gluten free, but it arrived with croutons and needed to be remade to accommodate her allergy. We were welcomed by the chef and his wife, creating a personal touch and it was excellent. Wine selection was fantastic, though the server was not very knowledgeable of the options/pairings. Wagyu steak and accompaniments were amazing, some of the best Wagyu we have had! The lambchops were perfectly cooked and the lobster bisque is crave-able, dying to have it again! We finished with desserts, the Creme brûlée was perfectly topped, mousse cake and limoncello cake were delicious, and we were gifted a complimentary dessert for the birthday at the table. Overall, this was a fine dining experience and we plan to return for future special occasions. The chef has perfected his craft and it was delightful, but the staff could use some more time to learn their menu, wines, and allergens.

The long awaited opening is about to happen, and we couldn’t be more excited. Last night was a soft and slightly more casual opening for friends and family of the employees of this new and beautiful restaurant. Our expectations were high, and they were exceeded. Our salads were delightful with wonderful greens tossed in a light dressing and fresh parmesan and a few cherry tomato halves on top. The ribeye was cooked to a medium rare perfection, seasoned as it should be – so that the steak shines as it should! I was excited to try the ratatoutille, one of my favorite dishes and it was fabulous, the best I have ever had! I had heard that the Wagyu Bolognese was wonderful, and again our expectations were exceeded. We were also treated to an incredible beef stew, again possibly the best I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot of beef stew in my lifetime. Desserts were Key Lime Pie and a cake that had both darker and white chocolate. The cake was great, but the Key Lime Pie was heaven. It sounds redundant, but that pie is also the best Key Lime I’ve had, and that’s the truth! Our bartender Ryan made us wonderful drinks from their cocktail menu. Those included the French Martini, the Honey and Smoke Paloma, the Diablo Sunrise Margarita, and the Prickly Pear Moscow Mule. I expect to see reviews complaining about prices, but they are clearly a high end culinary delight, and you get what you pay for. Worth every penny. We were grateful to be able to sample the things we did with the employees, their families and friends – but we can’t wait until they are open and we get to have the fine dining experience with other friends and family! Congratulations to everyone at Andreas for bringing Allen such a jewel for its crown. Your beautiful and elegant dining place will allow many great memories for your customers for years to come.

First the good, they did am amazing job decorating, place looks great, especially after it gets dark. Food was pretty good, bread hot and homemade with honey butter, oysters rockefeller appetizer and lobster bisque were wonderful. Now i will move onto the bad, after we were seated 10 minutes before we got some ice water or they took our drink order. Glass of champagne and a martini, these did not arrive until we had been there 30 minutes along with some bread. Then we ordered appetizers oysters Rockefeller and lobster bisque, oysters came out on time but then bisque arrived 10 minutes later. Then it gets a little worse, we had given our entree order, then 25 minutes later they come by and ask what we ordered, 10 minutes later they come by and ask again what we ordered, then 2 hours and 15 minutes after we first arrived our entrees show up. We also had ordered 2 glasses of wine with dinner, for some reason these took 20 minutes to arrive. For a final capper we had told them in the reservation it was our anniversary needless to say they didnt say happy anniversary offer us a free desert or maybe put.a rose on the table. I would have been fine with letting all of that slide if the manager had just made any attempt to apologize for the service or even say hello. When you spend $300 on a meal you expect customer service to be a little better but these poor waiters were not trained at all. I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 because it is a new restaurant and might improve.

The food taste and service are good, but the waiting time for food is very long, nearly an hour.

We dined here for the first time on our anniversary and loved it! With a reservation, we were immediately seated and they separated us from others as was feasible at the time. Charles was our server and did a fantastic job, but there was plenty of other help that passed by frequently and jumped in if needed. It felt like we were treated like royalty.

I waited to write this until we went back a second time to make sure it wasn’t just a good experience the first but both dinners were fantastic. Mixed up what we ordered both times and had two amazing meals. From the raw oysters, the best lobster bisque ever, amazing sea bass and a perfect prime filet. This is exactly was Allen had needed in my opinion. A real fine dining establishment that checks all the boxes! It’s priced right where it should be for the quality and experience and the atmosphere is fantastic. Looking forward to many more dinners here!

Drove from Oklahoma to try this restaurant out and overall it was a great experience. I had the 16oz prime ribeye topped with crab oscar béarnaise. It was one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. The plate was garnished with a jam, and it paired perfectly with the charred ribeye. Chef Andreas and our server Ben did a great job. Definitely will be back.

My family and I loved The Palm and we were thrilled to hear Chef Andreas was opening a luxurious steak and seafood restaurant here in Allen. My husband and I had the pleasure of dining there last night and we had an amazing time. We started our experience with the French martinis and the smoking bubble that comes on top is so fun. The escargot and the oysters Rockefeller were absolutely outstanding. The flavors were so balanced in each dish. The filet steak with the Oscar topping was exceptional. The only constructive criticism I would give is the goat cheese in the lobster mac and cheese over powers the lobster. In lobster mac you really want the flavor of that lobster to shine through. I would also like to request a lump meat crab cocktail appetizer for the future. 😉 The staff were extremely friendly and professional. Also, the interior design is so tasteful. The peacock theme throughout the restaurant is beautiful. Even the fine little details in the restrooms show this restaurant is a labor of love. We had a lovely time and look forward to coming back soon. 🙂
