An elevated Japanese restaurant with amazing sushi and so much more. Also every Tuesday they have a live tuna auction when they cut a huge tuna fish flown from their own farm, it was entertaining, educational and very delicious, and surprisingly affordable!

Amazing!! The nigiri were superb, we tried the seared salmon, medium fatty tuna and fatty tuna and all were amazing! I also recommended the creamy spicy shrimp and the miso soup! Great quality at not so crazy prices!

Admittedly, I don’t dine in a lot of Japanese restaurants. But my dear Japanese friend treated me to a birthday dinner at WOKUNI and I have to say it was one of the best meals I have had in quite a while! Not just because the food was the freshest, or because every server was kind and patient, or because the atmosphere was so relaxing. But for ALL of these things at once! I’m eager to return and take my husband! Thank you for making this a wonderful birthday!

I dined here for both lunch and dinner. Both offer great options, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Staff recommended the Wokuni Don for lunch, which has a limited amount served per day. It’s basically a supersized Chirashi Don with sashimi and tempura over rice. It’s so good. Dinner was fabulous as well. I ordered the Eel Don, and there were 4 different ways of eating, which was fun, and every bite was pleasant.

Consistent quality, great lunch and dinner option in the area! Fish is very fresh. Service is also great and the seating areas are really nice, especially the booths!

The food was nice, a little pricey for a restaurant that isn’t a michelin star restaurant anymore, and been from Australia I can see why things are so expensive here. There are way too many services, each with a specific task…. is it because they are busy or because they are uncabable of doing more than one thing or is it because they are too lazy….. I think it is the latter…. the host was on his phone the whole time, why not go out and help, I’ve noticed this at other restaurants as well…. the second they have they are on their phones…. the service and hospitality in Australia is million times better, you would never see a waiter, server, host on their phone and they all do multiple jobs.
