We have been to this new restaurant several times from their staring day!! Every time we visit, we are delighted with their food and service! We love the three types of chutney they serve with dosa- sply love green and red chutney! We also love their non vegetarian items – biriyani the is best among all the restaurants in the MD/ DC area! Chicken 65, Goat sukha is pure love ❤️ All the best for your business !!

My girlfriend was looking to get Dosas and suggested we try out a new place we’d never seen before. That took us to Sangam, and we were blown away.

An amazing South Indian food experience we had today (they have North Indian as well). The owner is so hospitable. He told us he did his training in South India and also worked at Taj resorts. It definitely shows with his down to earth hospitality and good quality. Come and try the food here quick!

The best tasting Indian food I’ve had outside of London. We ordered Idli, Chicken 65, Chicken Tikka Masala, Bhindi Masala, Papadam, Garlic Naan, Medu Vada. Food was exceptional although there wasn’t enough rice yet we kept having to ask for more water. If you’re looking for a fully polished executed restaurant this is not it. Very well priced. We were so impressed with the taste the chef came out and we got to thank him. We. Thanked. Him!!!! I live downtown and will drive back to cockeysville to eat here. They focus on quality. It was a confirmation when we left the restaurant and an Indian family was going in to eat. Follow those in the know!

We ordered too many dishes thinking the quantity would be like normal restaurants but it was way more. I tasted Biryani, Mysore Dosa, Chowmin, Butter Paneer, Naan, Coffee. I liked coffee the most. Taste was authentic.

The opening of Sangam, replacing Masala Pot which closed during the pandemic- but with the same owners/chef-, is a real blessing! The food is awesome- prepared to order and arrives as fresh and as spicy as you would want. As someone who has traveled to South India a lot, this food is as authentic South Indian as you can get and if I close my eyes, I can just imagine myself actually being in India while enjoying it- especially the dosa. idli and Malabar Paratha.

I…. … I’m at a loss for words. This food is so good. Not just the food, but the portion and prices. The portions were at least 3 times as much as other Indian restaurants and the prices were even cheaper! The butter chicken (spicy) was bold, not oily and the perfect balance between sweet and spicy. I also get chicken biryani (spicy) because I like mixing the two.. the biryani came out first WITH two sauces. The chicken was insanely tender and very flavorful and it was so good that I was happy eating it by itself while waiting for the butter chicken. (I know it’s a main dish). I have zero negative feedback. It surpassed all other Indian restaurants on my list, and there’s a lot. The pictures I added, are after I myself ate three portions and my husband ate 2 of just the biryani and butter chicken. 100000% recommended.

Horrible experience . I got cold food and it was so bad that we 3 people got stomach cramps . We vomited whole night and we are still recovering from it. The goat dish was cold and the chicken had so much food color that we can’t explain. Even biryani had very bad pieces. Total waste of money and actually we need to complain to authorities for such bad food.

I have been to Sangam four times for dinner, and the food is delicious. If you like authentic flavors from India, then Sangam is a far better option than the other Indian restaurants in the vicinity. Sathish, Murugan, Jana, Sadam and the entire crew form an excellent team. Please give Sangam a try. You can request the spice level to be customized to suit your taste buds. By the way, their Dosa with Sambar and Chutneys is super yummy. I will be going back for more.

The food here is as authentic Indian as it gets. The chef (Satish) prepares fantastic dosa. The only issue is that at times the service is slow, so plan accordingly and don’t visit when in rush.
