Good To Be Here!
Serving Pittsburghers since 1930. Whether you’re enjoying our food at our restaurant, at home, or at a wedding — Atria’s makes it Good to Be Here.
Atria’s History
The original Atria’s in Mt. Lebanon was owned by Italian immigrant Joe Atria and dates to 1930. It began as a grocery store, then expanded into a barbershop and dry cleaners. In 1933 prohibition ended and Atria’s began to sell beer. Along came food to feed the hungry — both highbrow attorneys and blue-collar working men alike.
In 1998, Pittsburgh natives Pat and Nancy McDonnell transformed Joe Atria’s historical Mt. Lebanon landmark into an upscale casual restaurant that today serves up American classics in neighborhoods all around the Greater Pittsburgh Area
Warm American eatery offering dishes including steaks, pastas, burgers & seafood plus a full bar. Based on 777 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.3 stars. Price $$

Always good food and even better service. We got Jasmine Rice bowl with chicken and chicken pot pie. Oh, and the fried zucchini was spectacular.

My wife and I both ordered the 14 ounce NY Strip steak ($38.00). It was very good. I thought it was a little overcooked for medium-rare, but I didn’t complain. The server was GREAT. Attentive, but not intrusive. This is definitely a $$$$$ restaurant, but worth it.

1st time. Food was solid, not great, but definitely good. Waitress was a little slow. I had enough time to select food before she got to the table. Dinner came out before appetizer. After I ordered dessert, I didn’t see my server again. I had to give my credit card to someone else, who also brought my dessert. As I left, my server finally showed. It had been 10 minutes.

Came here for our 3rd wedding anniversary. Service was great. The bruschetta was our favorite part of the meal, although the rest of the meal was also very good! We are looking forward to returning, especially for “fancier” dinners!

Overall my parents favorite place to go for a weekend dining experience for easily over a decade. The staff and management has never been anything but friendly and accommodating for us, and I’ve found a number of things I’ve enjoyed on their menu, including the crab bisque soup, crab cakes and filet, and various chicken pastas. My parents love their desserts as well and usually don’t spare the expense.

So disappointed! I’ve ordered takeout before from Atria (usually the Canonsburg one, not Pleasant Hills) but never used the on-line app. I ordered a “Giant Salad” from the menu — salmon salad (which I’ve had before and love it!). I was texted when it was ready and proceeded to the takeout area. An order was there with my name on it but it wasn’t what I had ordered (it was a burger and fries.). The hostess went back to the kitchen and apparently my order had somehow merged with someone else’s on the Doordash app (I had no idea I had even ordered through Doordash— the Atria online ordering did not tell me that). I had to wait another 25 minutes for my food. I couldn’t get a refund because I had unknowingly paid through Doordash! In addition when they finally brought my salad out, the lettuce was partly brown and the piece of salmon was rather small (my husband weighed it when I got home and it was 3.92 ounces.) SUCH a disappointment! The hostess tried to be nice about it — she wanted to get me some coupons to use for a free salad next time but the manager “had left 15 minutes ago” and “he’s the one who can give them to you!” She took my name and phone number, but I’m still waiting for him to call. I won’t be back to this Atria and I’ll never online order from Atria again!

My husband and I took my 87 year old Dad to eat here, and we all loved it. The atmosphere is quaint, the food delicious, the service is great and the prices are reasonable. We will certainly be back.

I took my adult son and daughter here out to eat for Easter dinner. The service was excellent. Our waiter Scott was very professional, prompt and always tending to our needs. The food was so good that I am still bragging to others to try it out. Thank you for making my families Easter extra special.

We went to Atria’s for our wedding anniversary hoping to have a lovely dinner. I ordered a mock tail and the mint leaf had a bug on it. When we were eating the wait staff cleaned down the table next to us with window cleaner and my food tasted like window cleaner after. My husband’s fries had spots on them where the potato was rotten. His soda order was also wrong. I usually don’t complain but this was so disappointing.
