This is a hidden gem conveniently located right by broadway and Central Park. It’s on the 2nd level of Nordstrom with a negligible entrance that’s somewhat hard to find. It opened pre COVID but still doesn’t have huge foot traffic possibly because there’s limited signage directing people to it. Simple and elegant decoration with Japanese style like wood table and chairs. Food was awesome. I did restaurant menu including a pork appetizer, a mussel & frites main, and a lovely (also not too sweet) dessert. Also had another grilled octopus appetizer per servers recommendation – it’s great! Great service too.

The food at Wolf was outstanding. The grilled octopus was an inventive and flavorful take on pulpo gallego. Crunchy fried potatoes contrasted with tender grilled octopus. The blistered pepper relish brought a hint of heat, and the saffron aioli added a creamy base to blend the many flavors and textures together.

Another reason why NYC restaurants, no matter where they are, are exceptional ! Second floor at Nordstroms “Wolfs” is a definite must for lunch or dinner. My second time in one week. It’s a tapas type restaurant where every plate is a enjoyable roller coaster of tastes and sensations. Beautifully presented with very fresh ingredients and great service.

Our cocktails were great, and we loved the Little Gem Salad, Bucatini and Hanger steak. The food was absolutely delicious! Carmen was wonderful and so sweet and attentive. Loved the atmosphere here and the open kitchen concept. Can’t wait to dine here again.

The restaurant is on the 2nd floor of Nordstrom. I ordered the paccheri pasta dish. Nice texture, delightful flavor, nice surprise with the citrus zest and bit of spice… However is was a tad too salty. And for a shrimp dish I was disappointed at the bite sized chopped shrimp pieces. The amount probably equated to 3 large shrimp.

Wow! The happy hour menu is from 3-6 throughout the restaurant, not just at the bar. They had an 8 dollar glass of Barbera which was great. The pastas on the menu were fantastic, cacio e pepe and a sausage in red sauce. We god the polenta fritters and a yummy dessert. Serraphina was so pleasant and attentive, she’s a fantastic waitress! This treasure on the 3rd floor of Nordstrom is truly wonderful.

Enjoyed a lovely meal here… shared the small plates and pasta with my friend… dessert too! The burrata and polenta plates were pretty good… the potato gnocchi was perfect… it is the softest gnocchi I have had… plus the sauce was good. The lemon doughnuts dessert was a big disappointment though… nothing lemony about it. I would just take it out of the menu. Not a great way to end the experience. I give it 4 stars only because of this!
