I am appalled and I felt completely disrespected and discriminated against. Myself and my wife enter the store at or around 8:20 I have a video for evidence as I proceeded to order with Lorenzo who had taken care of every other guest order that was of his race origin after completing a order he proceeded to tell me and my wife that he wanted to close on time and was not serving chicken now it was 40 mins till closing at which we where ordering to go not only did he refuse to take my order but he continued to be rude and displayed the worst customer service I have ever witnessed. He yelled over another guest while I was attempting to resolve our order not being taken I asked if it was because I was black he stated maybe and laughed I immediately started to record because I could fill myself loosing it I asked if he was the manager and if I could have the corporate number he again Denied me the number and again proceeded to talk around me and ignore my presence as if I was not even there now I have worked customer service for over 20 years I am a career service manager for over 18 years I have never felt the need to write a review of this kind but this was so disturbingly disrespectful that I had to reach out not only do we deserve an apology but we deserve more his arrogance and lack of professionalism towards a paying customer is not what customer service is about and he puts a stain on the hood employees I have encountered in the past . I am shocked that someone of that nature would be employed with this company I welcome a phone call and feed back as this is now about principal their were 4-6 people waiting to collect food 2 people ordered after me smh ♂️ if he would do this to me what other black man has had to endure this treatment

Expect them to get your order wrong often and always check your order due to that fact. They get my order wrong 50% of the time. It’s either missing something or the wrong item. I’m not sure what their manager does, but most likely, he/she doesn’t care.

I visited this place before the pendamic in many occasions. For those visits, I would rate them 4 stars. This recent visit two nights ago was totally dissatisfied. The chicken was burned and charred. The texture was extremely dry and like chewing a piece of cardboard. The chicken must have been left in the heat for the whole day. Tortilla was cold and the edge crisp. This meant that it wasn’t properly heated. Coleslew was not cold. The dressing was light, waterly and tasteless. I ordered 4 pce meal mixed with leg and thigh. But I got half chicken. People may say I should enjoy the white meat because it’s more expensive. Sorry, I enjoy leg and thigh more. This was a take out order. I should have checked the content before leaving the store. Then I would discover if the product is acceptable. I purchased from other neighboring El Apollo Loco stores often and quality has always enjoyable. This one is the worst and completely not acceptable. For info, don’t buy from stores that don’t have any raw chicken on fire cooking. This is my observation from this store. It’s grill had no fire on. The cooked chickens were lined up on one side of the grill. Probably left there for a long time thus dried.

Hey Pollo Loco, y’all seriously need to clean your place up in here. It’s really gross, just a word of advice. A little tidying up will go a long way to improve your establishment. Clean under the booths and sweep too, because it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a year. And wipe down your walls, they look like someone threw a soda and you never wiped it down.

My advice for everyone who’s ordering take out from this place is to count the pieces and make sure you get the side that you ordered. My order of 14 pieces of leg and thigh Grand value family meal place today with cashier Jonathan , order #20 at 5:30 p.m. on March 11th 2018 was found to have two major issues. Instead of 14 pieces of chicken we received 12 and we got black beans instead of the pinto beans. Just be aware!
