Located in the heart of its namesake city of St. Paul, The Apostle Supper Club is the place for nostalgic fun and food in the center of the action. From the pregame party patio to the piano lounge to the gourmet supper club service, this alter ego dining experience is infused with 1960’s Palm Springs ambiance. Here, classic dishes are deconstructed and reimagined with a sense of comfort and adventure, making the menu the star of the supper club show.
On the flip side of this dining high point, you’ll also find hockey-infused ritual at The False Eyedoll bar with sport, spirit and superstition all in one experience.

The vibes here are fabulous. I went with my family for my birthday and it was a great time. I love all the special and unique areas that they have for you to sit and dine. We ate at a table in the far back by the conversation pit/round fireplace. I saw the patio too, on my way to the bathroom, and it looks really big and I bet kids would enjoy the space. For dinner, I had the wagyu steak. I enjoyed it, but I ordered medium rare and it came just medium. Also, we had the charred octopus for an appetizer and it was good. The flavor and texture were good and not off-putting. I was worried at first but I had researched it beforehand and felt confident I’d be OK. The sauce served on it was good, but it was so much that it sort of overshadowed the meat. I tried my husband’s chicken fried lobster and it was very good. My parents enjoyed their meals as well (the Cod and the El Royale burger). I started with the Ingram Old Fashioned cocktail and I was disappointed. The whiskey really gave off a hot ethanol feel. I love Old Fashioned cocktails, and I must be spoiled by some of my other favorite places. My husband had the Pain Killer (I think) and it was yummy – you could not taste the alcohol, but it was there! For dessert I had the Pink Squirrel cocktail – one of my all time favorite drinks and they did fabulous. So, I had some unexpected disappointments, but all in all I had a good time and I will plan to go back. Note: they also offer NA drinks, which was great for my mom who has an alcohol intolerance. Also, there are lots of paid places near by to park, but they don’t have parking and they face the street… It’s not even easy to be dropped off there.

Food flavor was great. I got the French toast tower and shared it, reminded me of a banana foster! Great variety of yummy fresh juice and drinks. I loved the esthetic and touch of live music as well. Different vibes all around the restaurant with many art aspects to enjoy and observe. Would definitely come back during their dinner hours.

I visited with a group of friends about a month ago to celebrate a birthday. Pros: The atmosphere is cool. When you walk in there is Tiki bar on the right. In the center there is a pianist doing cover songs. The decor is very nice. The drinks were unique and delicious. Cons: being right across from Xcel, the parking situation sucks. The food was mediocre. There was nothing we had that made us say “wow” that was good. Since it was my friends birthday, the pianist sang happy birthday to her. But we didn’t know when it was going to happen, so when we heard it we decided we should stand up and go listen. And by the time we stood up and walked over it was done. The birthday girl missed it. We were told we’d get a Polaroid taken of us as part of the birthday. We had to remind someone on our way out the door. I wouldn’t go back hungry or to eat dinner. But I would check it out again for drinks in a cool atmosphere.

Excellent experience. The food, the cocktails, the vibe and the service was top notch. The prices may seem high but portions are very generous. Definitely large enough to share. And I can’t say enough about the service. Everyone from the host staff to the server to the person pulling plates and filling water was amazing. I understand why this place is always busy and tough to get into. We’ll be back.

Beautiful, vibrant space with a classy retro theme. We went for brunch on Sunday and enjoyed live entertainment with piano and saxophone.

Horrible experience! We went there for a friend birthday get together and we were treated like second class citizens! It took a very long time to even get a server. And on top of that the special “cocktails” tastes like I was drinking a foot! I knew I was in trouble when I sat down and looked at the menu in everything didn’t look appealing. They tried to give us some cheap-looking appetizers with a bunch of pickles and other vegetables it looks like a bunch of property food thrown together on a plate! And when we finally ordered our food it was not what I asked for, The kitchen ran out of chicken and they still gave me the food anyway like I wasn’t going to notice. And when I complain that my food wasn’t what I ordered they tried to give me some more horrible tasting and horrible-looking and tasting appetizers in the place of the missing chicken LOL. But eventually gave me my money back, but I still had to pay for that horrible drink.I would not recommend this place, it is noisy, expensive and the food is not edible in my opinion. It seems like the staff is overwhelmed and unfriendly. Honestly they should look into changing the menu and getting better specialty drinks that was a horrible experience. I give this spot 4 thumbs down

There is a lot to like at Apostle. The atmosphere and decor is lively, fun, and unique. My first trip was for dinner, and the dinner menu has a lot of excellent options on it, including the Wagyu steak and oxtail. The old fashioned and grasshopper were middle of the road, but the glove drop was very enjoyable. The espresso creme brule was excellent.

I’ve been here twice now, once to celebrate a friend’s birthday and another time before a Wild hockey game and it’s been phenomenal each time. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

Service was honest and food was fantastic. We loved the octopus, grilled cheese (crinkle fries were so good), prawns, and the wings. We came before the Wild game and it was perfect!
